Abstract

ABSTRAK Aktivitas yang dikerjakan secara manual oleh pekerja area butiran PT. Petrokimia Kayaku rawan terjadinya gangguan musculoskeletal. Untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko cedera musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) khususnya pada tubuh bagian atas para pekerja digunakan metode Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA), sedangkan untuk seluruh bagian tubuh digunakan metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Dari hasil analisis postur kerja dengan metode RULA, terdapat satu postur pekerjaan yaitu merekatkan kemasan yang mendapat grand score tiga (rendah), empat postur pekerjaan (pengisian produk, pelipatan kardus, merekatkan kardus dan mengemasi kardus) yang mendapat grand score empat (rendah), sedangkan postur pekerjaan memasukkan produk mendapat grand score tujuh (tinggi). Untuk metode REBA, postur pekerjaan memindahkan kardus mendapatkan grand score sepuluh (tinggi). Prioritas yang dilakukan perbaikan adalah postur kerja memasuk kan produk dan memindahkan kardus (grand score tinggi). Perbaikan yang diberikan adalah usulan perbaikan postur kerja dan perbaikan stasiun kerja khususnya meja kerja serta penambahan alat bantu kerja berupa pallet leveller. Dari hasil perbaikan stasiun kerja yang telah dilakukan maka didapatkan postur kerja yang sesuai dengan postur kerja usulan. Kata Kunci : manual material handling, musculoskeletal disorders, postur kerja, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) ABSTRACT Manual activities by granule workers at PT. Petrokimia Kayaku were prone to musculoskeletal disorders. RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) is one of method to identify musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) injury risk level, especially on workers’ upper limb. The Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method used for entire body workers, different with RULA to identify partial body part. The result of work posture research with RULA method, showing one gesture, when agglutinating package with the grand score is three (low) and there were four work postures (filling up the product, folding the cardboard box, agglutinating the cardboard box and packing the cardboard box) with the grand score is four (low); meanwhile, work posture when inputting product obtained with the grand score is seven (high). For the REBA method, the work posture of moving cardboard box obtained with the grand score is ten (high). The priorities for the improvement were carried out the work posture entering product and moving the cardboard box which obtained the high grand score. The recommendation of work posture and work station is at the workbench improvement, as well as the work tools in the form of pallet leveler. The result of work station improvement which had been carried out and it will obtained an appropriate work posture for recommended work posture.
