Abstract

Kata kunci : oil containment system, SAP 2000, oil water separator, API ABSTRACT PT.XX is a powerplant unit which is a power capacity around of 760,04 MW. Transformer or Trafo has important role in electricity distribution process. in order to work properly based on its function, transformer is helped by transformer oil as insulator and cooler. PT.XX had an oil containment system, but when spiling occur, transformer oil would absorb directly into the ground. So it was necessary to redesign oil containment system to keep water and oil contamination in the ground Redesign of oil containment system consisted of determining capacity volume of transformer oil and water which were by water spray system, and reinforcement and pile requirement calculation. Reinforcement and pile requirement calculation used SAP 2000 and manual method. After that, water and transformer oil would be streamed to oil water separator so that the calculation of piping, pump power and determining oil water separator was needed. Result of this study showed that the highest oil and water volume of transformer GT2/3 was 122,357 m 3. Redesign that would be used was oil containment within bunds with the highest dimension is in GT2/3. the value was 20 m x 16 x 1,3 m. From the calculation result using SAP and manual, it known that transformator GT 2/3 used D16 150 and D12 450 for wall and used D16 100 and D12 450 for base of oil containment system. Then from the piping plan, it required pump that had 1149 HP. Oil water separator design that would be chosen was American Petroleum Institute (API) with dimension 17,5 m x 3,5 m x 2,5 m. Keyword : oil containment system, SAP 2000, oil water separator, API
