Abstract

Pertamina EP Asset 4 Field Cepu. Kata kunci : Balance Score Card, Dissipative Silencer, Hierarchy of Control, Kebisingan Total, Silencer . ABSTRACT Compressor units in area Basic Sulvur Recovery Unit (BSRU) is one of the production machine that operated by PT Pertamina EP Cepu Asset 4 Fieled. Compressor unit generates total noise level of 99.035 dB at a distance of 6 meters from the source (pedestrian area) and the noise level of the sound source based hemispherical radiation amounting to 116.526 dB (A), which means the noise level exceeds the environment standard, as stated in KEPMEN LH 48 1996 that the maximum limit level of industrial area is 70 dB (A). This study aims to determine source noise level caused by the operation of the compressor, analysis priorities noise control using the Hierarchy of Control, and to design solution technology for this area. Based on Balance Score Card method, showed that the order of priority is with the noise control engineering (technical engineering), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), administration control. Engineering technology planned in lowering the noise level in the compressor unit is by applying silencer. And in order to obtain the proper silencer, in this study also provide analyzed the calculation of the 3-type silencer technology, namely single-expantion chamber of silencer, double-expantion chamber of silencer and dissipative silencer. Based on calculations for three alternative solutions, the silencer technology that is most suitable based on attenuation capability and dimention construction is dissipative silencer with liner material specification attenuation coefficient is 5; dissipative tube length is 0,6 meter, and the diameter of the tube dissipative is 0,17 m. Key words: Balance Score Card, Dissipative Silencer , Hierarchy of Control, Silencer, T otal Noise Level.
