Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengelasan Submerged Arc Welding merupakan salah satu jenis pengelasandengan perlindugan fluks diatas daerah yang di las. Faktor lingkungan menjadikan sebuah permasalahn yang dapat menjadi penyebab flux terkontaminasi terhadap lingkungan. Fluks tersebut berperan sebagai kontrol mekanikal dan kimiawi hasil las. Sehingga akan mempengaruhi kualitas dari fluks. Dilakukan penelitian akankah pengaruh pemansan pada fluks dapat mengembalikan kualitas terbaik. Penelitian dengan suhu kamar, suhu bawah kamar, temperatur 150 0 . Menggunakan meterial plat SA 36 dengan dimensi 150 x 100 x 10 mm. Penggunaan jenis fluks yaitu OK Flux 10.71 dan OK Flux 10.88. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menarik hasil uji kekeraan dan uji komposisi kimia pada hasil pengelasan antara suhu kamar, suhu dibawah kamar, temperatur 150 0 C. Dari hasil pengujian komposisi kimia didapatkan kandungan karbon dengan pemanasan memiliki nilai tertinggi diantara suhu kamar dan suhu di bawah kamar. Pada OK Flux 10.71 hasil pengujian nilai kekerasan pada suhu kamar sebesar 134,1 HVN di weld metal, 107HVN di HAZ dan 109,6 HVN di base metal. Nilai kekerasan pada suhu di bawah kamar sebesar 122,2 HVN di weld metal, 96,9 HVN di HAZ dan 100,5 HVN di base metal. Nilai kekerasan pada suhu 150 0 C sebesar 140,2 HVN di weld metal, 106,7 HVN di HAZ dan 108,8 HVN di base metal. Sedangkan OK Flux 10.88 hasil pengujian nilai kekerasan pada suhu kamar sebesar 181,8 HVN di weld metal, 104,5HVN di HAZ dan 100,5 HVN di base metal. Nilai kekerasan pada suhu di bawah kamar sebesar 183,0 HVN di weld metal, 108,5 HVN di HAZ dan 109,7 HVN di base metal. Nilai kekerasan pada suhu 150 0 C sebesar 193,6 HVN di weld metal, 107 HVN di HAZ dan 100,7 HVN di base metal. Environmental factors make a constraint can be a cause of flux contamination of the environment. The flux acts as a mechanical and chemical control welds. So it will affect the quality of the flux. Conducted research on the warming effect of the flux would be able to restore the best quality. Research at room temperature, under room temperature, a temperature of 150 0 C. Using plate meterial SA 36 with dimensions of 150 x 100 x 10 mm. The use of flux that is OK Flux 10.71 and OK Flux 10.88. The study was conducted by pulling the hardness test results and test the chemical composition of the weld between room temperature under room temperature, a temperature of 150 0 C. Chemical composition of the test results obtained by heating the carbon content has the highest value between room temperature and below room temperature. OK Flux 10.71 on the test results at room temperature hardness value of 134.1 HVN in the weld metal, 107 HVN in the HAZ and 109.6 HVN in the base metal. Hardness at under room temperature of 122.2 HVN in weld metal, 96.9 HVN in the HAZ and 100.5 HVN in the base metal. Hardness values at a temperature of 150 0 C at 140.2 HVN in the weld metal, 106.7 HVN in the HAZ and 108.8 HVN in the base metal.
