Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang stamping. Stamping yaitu proses dimana material plat dirubah menjadi profil atau benda yang di kehendaki dengan menggunakan dies dan mesin press.PT X sering membuat berbagai macam dies tetapi hanya didasarkan dengan dies sebelumnya tanpa perhitungan sehingga lebih cepat crack atau aus karena tebal die atau punch tidak sesuai. Solusi agar dies tidak cepat crack atau aus yaitu dengan menggunakan perhitungan yang sesuai serta analisa kekuatan dengan software seperti SolidWork, Catia, Dan lain sebagainya agar die atau punch yang dihasilkan kekuatannya lebih sesuai daripada hanya sebatas perkiraan. Tugas Akhir dengan judul Perancangan dan Pembuatan dies progressive kunci pass M6 ini merencanakan pembuatan punch die dengan diawali perhitungan agar life time die punch bisa lebih lama daripada tanpa perhitungan. Kata kunci : Die, Lifetime, Punch, Stamping ABSTRACT PT. X is a company engaged in the field of stamping. Stamping is the process in which the plate material is converted into objects in the profile or desired by using dies and machinery press.PT X often make different kinds of dies but only based on the previous dies without making calculations more quickly crack or wear out because of the thick die or punch does not fit. Solutions that dies not crack or wear out quickly by using the appropriate calculations and analysis with the power of software such as SolidWork, Catia, and so forth in order to die or punch the resulting strength is more appropriate than merely an estimate. Final titled Design and Manufacture progressive dies pass key M6 is planned to produce the manufacture of punch die by starting the calculation so that the life time of the punch die could be longer than without calculation.
