ABSTRAK Area sour water stripping di PT.ALP Petro Industry, Gempol ini merupakan unit pengolahan limbah yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi kandungan H2 S pada fluida sour water dengan cara pemisahan fraksi uap dan cair. Sebelum limbah di olah pada area ini, limbah disimpan di tangki 14. Kebocoran akibat korosi yang pernah terjadi pada tangki 14 memberikan tanda bahaya korosi yang bisa terjadi pada peralatan dan sistem perpipaan di area sour water stripping. Untuk memetakan potensi korosi pada area sour water stripping dilakukan uji potensiostat. Pada hasil pengujian diperoleh laju korosi tertinggi pada material tube reboiler SA 179 sebesar 0.29724 mm/yr dan laju korosi terendah pada material plate heat exchanger AISI 316 sebesar 0.00775 mm/yr. Hasil pengujian ini juga mengindikasikan kadar sulfur yang terkandung pada fluida sour water mempengaruhi laju korosi yang terjadi. Semakin besar kadar sulfur yang terkandung semakin tinggi laju korosi yang terjadi dan apabila kadar sulfur yang terkandung rendah maka laju korosi yang terjadi akan makin rendsh. Peta korosi mengklasifikasikan tingkat bahaya berdasarkan sisa umur material. Material plate heat exchanger AISI 316 dan tower stripper SA 516 gr B serta SA 316L masuk dalam kriteria low severity diberi warna hijau dengan sisa umur lebih dari 10 tahun. Material sistem perpipaan SA 106 Gr B masuk dalam kriteria medium severity diberi warna kuning dengan sisa umur 5.41 tahun, dan material tube reboiler SA 179 masuk dalam high severity diberi warna merah karena sudah tidak memiliki sisa umur. Kata Kunci: sour water stripping, korosi, potensiostat, SA 106 Gr B, SA 179, SA 516 Gr 60, SA 316L, AISI 316, sisa umur ABSTRACT Sour water stripping area at PT.ALP Petro Industry, Gempol is waste process unit which has function reduce sulfur content of sour water by means of the separation of vapor and liquid fraction. Before the waste is processed in this area, it is stored at tangki 14. The leaked of this tank that happened will give a dangerous corrosion signal in main equipment and piping system of this area. For mapping the corrosion potential in sour water stripping area need to make potensiostat test. Result of this test indicated that the highest corrosion rate is tube of reboiler material SA 179 with the corrosion rate is 0.29724 mm/yr, and the lowest corrosion rate is plate heat exchanger material AISI 316 with the corrosion rate is 0.00775 mm/yr. the result of this test is also indicated that the level of sulfur contained in the fluid sour water affect the corrosion rate. The grater the sulfur contained make the corrosion rate is high and lower contained of corrosion rate will make the corrosion rate is low. Map of corrosion classify the danger level based on the remaining life of material. Material of plate heat exchanger AISI 316 and tower stripper SA 516 Gr 60 and SA 316L is low severity classified be green colored with the remaining life is more than 10 years. Material of piping system SA 106 gr B is medium severity classified be yellow colored with the remaining life is 5.41 years, and tube of reboiler is high severity classified be red colored because it does not have remaining life again.
