ABSTRAK Program konversi minyak tanah ke LPG merupakan program pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi subsidi BBM, dengan mengalihkan pemakaian minyak tanah ke LPG. Untuk mengubah BBM ke BBG harus diimbangi dengan penelitian komponen pendukung berupa alat untuk mengkonversi BBM ke BBG yang biasa disebut KONVERTER KIT, tetapi konverter yang diproduksi oleh produsen dipasaran, masih sangat mahal harganya, bahkan hingga puluhan juta rupiah harganya. Sehingga banyak masyarakat yang tidak mau untuk membeli konverter kit yang ada dipasaran. Karena itu kami membuat penelitian tentang analisa perbandingan penggunaan bahan bakar LPG dan bensin ditinjau dari ekonomis agar ke depannya dapat membantu para nelayan.
