ABSTRACk Before starting a production process, we need to know how the cost of production. Aims to determine the minimum selling price of product, it is necessary for the calculation of material needs. Given the importance of a calculation of material requirements before starting the production process so that the company can set the coat of production, so that production of capital return. The method in this study is a step by step research that begins from literature, supporting data section, continues on the calculation of the cost to manufacture the mold, ship’s body cost calculation, calculation of wages. From the results of the calculations are done, of the cost mold is obtained in Rp 21.274.000,00 and the cost of the ship’s body is Rp 48.396.000,00. while production cost for the construction of speed boat 10 meter is Rp 523.138.000,00. With matt material requirements for 16 roll, 8 roll of WR, 6 drum of resin, 5 bottle of catalyst, 56 sheet of poly wood, 23 sheet of melamine, 16 sheet of foam, 35 shaft of wood, 7 tin of putty, 9 tin of wax, 18 shaft of PVC pipe.ABSTRAK Sebelum dimulai suatu proses produksi, terlebih dahulu harus mengetahui berapa biaya produksinya. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui harga jual minimal produknya, maka perlu adanya perhitungan kebutuhan material. Mengingat pentingnya suatu perhitungan kebutuhan material sebelum memulai sebuah proses produksi agar perusahaan dapat menetapkan biaya produksinya, sehingga modal produksi kembali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitiaan ini merupakan langkah-langkah penelitian yang diawali dari studi literatur, pengumpulan data-data penunjang, berlanjut pada perhitungan biaya untuk pembuatan cetakan, perhitungan biaya badan kapal, perhitungan upah pekerja Dari hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan, didapatkan besar biaya cetakan adalah Rp 21.274.000,00 dan besar biaya badan kapal adalah Rp 48.396.000,00. Sedangkan biaya produksi untuk pembangunan speed boat 10 meter adalah Rp 523.138.000,00. Dengan kebutuhan material matt sebesar 16 roll, WR sebesar 8 roll, resin sebesar 6 drum, katalis sebesar 5 botol, poly wood sebesar 56 lembar, melamin sebesar 23 lembar, foam sebesar 16 lembar, kayu sebesar 35 batang, dempul sebesar 7 kaleng, wax sebesar 9 kaleng, pipa PVC sebesar 18 batang.
