Abstract

Abu adalah material padat yang tersisa dari proses pembakaran di boiler pada pembangkit listrik tenaga uap yang menggunakan bahan bakar batu bara. Abu pada batu bara diklasifikasikan menjadi dua jenis, yaitu abu dasar (bottom ash) dan abu terbang (fly ash). Untuk mengeluarkan debu dari sisa pembakaran tersebut digunakan Induced Draft fan (ID Fan). Induced Draft fan (ID Fan) menggunakan motor 3fasa type aqial flow fan with variable pith moving blade ( ML-H2-R200) dengan memanfaatkan tegangan 13.200 volt, 50HZ, kecepatan motor 750rpm, dan daya keluaran motor sebesar 10.001 HP. Gangguan sering terjadi pada proses kerja Induced Draft fan (ID Fan) pada bagian Induced Draft Fan Seal Air. Induced Draft Fan Seal Air bermasalah saat terjadi ketidak sejajaran kopel poros motor dan poros fan sehingga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada bearing. Hal tersebut juga dapat membuat semakin dekat jarak antara rotor dan stator, sehingga dapat menyebabkan short circuit dan sistem tidak dapat bekerja secara maksimal bahkan bisa menyebabkan motor terbakar. Kata Kunci : Induced Draft Fan (IDFan ) , IDFan Seal Air. Ash is the solid material left after the combustion process of the boiler in a steam power plant that uses coal. On coal ash is classified in to two types , bottom ash (bottom ash) and fly ash(fly ash). To release ash of the combustion process Induced Draft of fan ( ID Fan ) is used. Induced Draft fan ( ID Fan) uses triphase motor with the type aqial flow fan with variable pith moving blade ( ML-H2-R200) with voltage of 13.200 volt, 50HZ, motor speed of 750rpm, and motor output of 10.001 HP. Trouble often experience by Induced draft fan ( IDFAN) at the part of Induced draft fan seal air. Induced draft fan seal air is having problem when the couple of motor axis and fan axis is not even, that problem can cause damage at bearing. It can Also make the distance between stator and it rotor is getting smaller that can cause short circuit and system cannot work maximally, even can cause motor burnt.
