Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem kelistrikan di plant refinery 3100 memiliki karakteristik penggunaan beban-beban yang bersifat non linier. Akibatnya terjadi permasalahan Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) yang melebihi standar IEEE-159-1992. Hal tersebut berpengaruh langsung terhadap kualitas daya pada plant refinery 3100. Dalam memperbaiki kualitas daya pada sistem kelistrikan pada plant refinery 3100 dilakukan pemasangan filter pasif jenis single tuned sebagai peredam efek harmonisa. Unjuk kerja filter pasif single tuned ini disimulasikan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP. Dari hasil simulasi disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan filter pasif single tuned dapat meredam efek harmonisa. Sehingga nilai Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) pada sistem mejadi aman dan kualitas daya menjadi lebih baik. As a result there is a problem Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) that exceeds the standard IEEE-159-1992. This is a direct effect on the quality of power in 3100. In the refinery plant improve power quality in the electrical system on a 3100 refinery plant was installed single type of passive filter tuned as dampening effects of harmonics. Performance single tuned passive filter is simulated using ETAP software. From the simulation results concluded that the use of single tuned passive filter can reduce the effects of harmonics. So the value of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in the system becoming safer and better power quality.
