Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada project-14 Indocement tumpahnya tanah liat karena kurang tepat perhitungan kecepatan conveyor belt dan daya motor belt conveyor. Mengakibatkan terhambatnya kerja dari daya motor belt conveyor. Perubahan perhitungan kecepatan conveyor belt dan daya motor belt conveyor dari penambangan tanah liat menuju silo akan mengurangi kerugian tumpahnya tanah liat dari conveyor. Dalam tugas akhir membahas tentang perancangan daya motor belt conveyor pada project-14 Indocement, mulai dari persiapan awal mengenai conveyor, mengumpulkan data yang diperoleh dari dokumen PT.INDOCEMENT dan menghitung daya motor menggunakan rumus-rumus mengenai belt conveyor. Dari daya motor yang digunakan pada belt conveyor dengan panjang 474,5 m dengan kapasitas 2000 tph daya motor yang digunakan pada conveyor tersebut sebesar 115,246 HP, maka motor yang digunakan type TOSHIBA 2004DPSB21A-P dengan daya 125 HP dengan menggunakan drive pulley diameter 777,6 mm, putaran pulley 19,910 rpm. Kata kunci : Conveyor, Belt conveyor, Daya motor, Pulley. ABSTRACT The project-14 Indocement spill clay because it is less precise calculation of the speed of the conveyor belt and the conveyor belt motor power. Resulting in delays in the work of the conveyor belt motor power. Changes in calculation speed and motor power conveyor belt conveyor,belt of mining clay to the silo will reduce losses spilling of clay from the conveyor. In the thesis discusses the design on a belt conveyor and pulley motor power,ranging from studies leteratur the conveyor,collects the data obtained from the document PT.INDOCEMENT and calculates the motor power using formulas derived from literature on belt conveyor. From power motors used in belt conveyor with a length of 474,5 m with a capacity of 2000 tph, then power a motor that is used on the conveyor amounted to 120,048 HP is equal to used motor type TOSHIBA 2004DPSB21A-P with the 125 HP, using the drive pulley diameter 777,6 mm round pulley 19,910 r.p.m. Keywords: conveyor, belt conveyor, motor power, pulley.
