Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. X adalah industri yang bergerak dibidang pestisida. Jenis-jenis produksinya berupa pestisida cair, tepung dan butiran. Dari tiap-tiap proses salah satunya menghasilkan limbah cair domestik. Limbah cair domestik yang dihasilkan langsung dibuang ke lingkungan melalui instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL). Berdasarkan pengukuran, diperoleh data kualitas air yang dihasilkan tidak sesuai dengan Surat Keputusan Gubernur Jawa Timur No. 72 Tahun 2013 tentang Baku Mutu Air Limbah, sehingga limbah cair tersebut berpotensi menyebabkan pencemaran di lingkungan sekitar perusahaan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air limbah domestik, merencanakan IPAL, dan membuat detail perancangan IPAL di PT. X. Tahap-tahap yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pengambilan sampel air limbah domestik dari selokan. Berdasarkan Peraturan Gubernur No 72 Tahun 2013 air limbah tersebut tidak memenuhi baku mutu air limbah domestik, untuk parameter limbah yaitu COD, BOD, TSS dan pH. Debit air limbah diasumsikan 80% dari penggunaan air bersih (Qasim, 1985). Gambar Detail Engineering IPAL Domestik terdiri dari bak ekualisasi, bak sedimentasi I, tangki aerasi, bak sedimentasi II, dan Sludge Drying Bed. Hasil perancangan didapatkan ukuran PxLxh bak ekualisasi 2,6 m, 2,6 m dan 3 m, bak sedimentasi I 2,4 m, 0,6 m dan 3 m, tangki aerasi 3,7 m, 1,8 m dan 3 m, bak sedimentasi II 2,4 m, 0,6 m dan 3 m. Perancangan penulangan tiap-tiap bak didapatkan dinding panjang, pendek dan pelat bawah bak ekualisasi Ø25 dengan jarak 50 mm dan Ø22 – 50 mm, dinding panjang, pendek dan pelat bawah bak sedimentasi I dan II Ø25 dengan jarak 50 mm, Ø16 – 50 mm, dan Ø16 – 50 mm, dinding panjang, pendek, dan pelat bawah tangka aerasi Ø25 dengan jarak 50 mm, Ø16 – 50 mm, dan Ø22 – 50 mm serta dinding panjang, pendek, dan pelat bawah bak sludge drying bed Ø22 dengan jarak 50 mm, Ø13 – 50 mm, dan Ø13 – 50 mm. Wastewater discharge is assumed 80% of fresh water use (Qasim, 1985). Pictures Detail Engineering Domestic wastewater consists of equalization basin, bath I sedimentation, aeration tanks, sedimentation tanks II, and the Sludge Drying Bed. Design results obtained equalization basin PxLxh size of 2.6 m, 2.6 m and 3 m, the sedimentation basin I 2.4 m, 0.6 m and 3 m, the aeration tank of 3.7 m, 1.8 m and 3 m , sedimentation tanks II 2.4 m, 0.6 m and 3 m. The design of each tub reinforcement wall obtained long, short and bottom plate Ø25 equalization basin at a distance of 50 mm and Ø22 - 50 mm, wall long, short and bottom plate sedimentation tanks I and II Ø25 with a distance of 50 mm, O16 - 50 mm, and O16 - 50 mm, wall long, short, and under tangka aeration plate Ø25 with a distance of 50 mm, O16 - 50 mm, and Ø22 - 50 mm and a wall long, short, and the bottom plate Ø22 like sludge drying bed with a distance of 50 mm , Ø13 - 50 mm, and Ø13 - 50 mm.
