Abstract

Minidredger is a facility that can lift sludge from the water and move it from one area to another. Minidredger with submersible pump in operation is blocked by some material (garbage and hard material) around the PMS pool area. The purpose of this study is to plan the modification of a dredging tool that is appropriate to the condition of the pond and analyzes stability and calculates a more economical cost before being modified and after being modified. The methodology of this study designs hydraulic excavators and is placed on both sides of the submersible pump minidredger with the help of Autocad software and analyzes stability with the help of the Maxsurf software using the 2008 IMO standard as well as calculating the cost of using sea transportation costs for port dredging. The results of this study are equipment planning adapted to material conditions and field conditions, namely by adding hydraulic excavators on both sides of the dredger pump so that it is more efficient than the previous design. Stability analysis obtained is in accordance with the required IMO Criteria and the ship is in stable condition. In all working conditions and not working, the angle of equlibrium 0 was obtained from the 50% criteria, and the maximum gz angle analysis still met the criteria, namely> 4.58 m.deg. Minidredger cost comparison is more economical with the addition of hydraulic excavators because in terms of time, dredging speed and costs are more economical
