ABSTRAK PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Site PDRO bergerak dibidang pertambangan bertekat untuk menjadi perusahaan yang dapat diandalkan melalui implementasi sistem integrasi mutu, Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja dan Lingkungan Hidup sesuai dengan Good Mining Practice (GMP). Lingkup pekerjaan yang luas, serta potensi bahaya yang tinggi mengharuskan perusahaan untuk terus meningkatkan sumber daya, guna meminimalisir potensi kecelakaan kerja. Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan meliputi manager’s safety practices, culture dimensions, dan worker’s safety perceptions . Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menilai pengaruh manager’s safety practices dan culture dimensions terhadap worker’s safety perceptions di perusahaan. Hasil penelitian akan menggambarkan tingkat keberhasilan perusahaan dalam membangun budaya keselamatan kerja. Studi ini dimulai dengan menyebarkan tiga macam kuisioner yaitu manager’s safety practices, culture dimensions, dan worker’s safety perceptions. Dilakukan uji statistik dengan bantuan software SPSS 16 for windows seperti analisis faktor, regresi dan korelasi untuk mengetahui besar pengaruhnya serta uji beda one way anova untuk mengetahui perbedaan worker’s safety perceptions berdasarkan faktor pendidikan, usia, dan level jabatan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan nilai t hitung > t tabel (5,567>1,974) yang artinya manager’s safey practices dan cultural dimensions berpengaruh terhadap worker’s safety perceptions. Manajemen menetapkan program dan kebijakan keselamatan yang efektif sehingga dapat menciptakan budaya keselamatan yang baik di perusahaan. Budaya yang baik akan menghasilkan persepsi pekerja yang baik sehingga para pekerja dapat bekerja dengan baik dan aman. Uji beda one way anova menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan worker’s safety perceptions yang signifikan berdasarkan faktor level jabatan dengan nilai F hitung > F tabel (6,728>3,056) dan pendidikan dengan nilai F hitung > F tabel (8,805>3,056). Sedangkan berdasarkan faktor usia tidak ditemukan perbedaan worker’s safety perceptions yang signifikan karena nilai F hitung < F tabel (2,476<3,056). Manajer memiliki nilai persepsi keselamatan tertinggi, sehingga diharapkan manajer dapat membuat kebijakan dan menjadi pelopor dalam keselamatan. Kalimantan Prima Persada Site PDRO engaged in mining was determined to be a reliable company through the implementation of quality integrated system, Safety, Health and Environment in accordance with Good Mining Practice (GMP). Wide scope of work, and a high hazard potential, requires the company to continue to increase resources, in order to minimize the potential for accidents. Things that need attention include the manager's safety practices, culture dimensions, and worker's safety perceptions. This study was conducted to assess the effect of manager’s safety practices and culture dimensions of the worker's safety perceptions in the company. Results of the study will describe the extent of the company's success in establishing a safety culture. The study began by distributing three kinds of questionnaires that manager's safety practices, culture dimensions, and worker's safety perceptions. Statistical test with SPSS 16 for windows such as factor analysis, regression and correlation to determine the effect and different test one way ANOVA to determine differences in worker's safety perceptions by a factor of education, age, and level positions. The results obtained demonstrate the value t count> t table (5.567> 1.974) which means that the manager's safey practices and cultural dimensions affect the worker's safety perceptions. Management establishes pogram and effective safety policy so as to create a good safety culture in the company. Good culture will result in the good of worker’s perceptions, so workers can work well and safely. Different test shows that there are significant differences in worker's safety perceptions based on position level factor with F count> F table (6.728> 3.056) and education factor with F count> F table (8.805> 3.056). While based on the age factor was not found significant differences in worker's safety perception because the value F count <F table (2.476 <3.056). The manager has the highest value of the safety perception, so it is expected that managers can make policy and become a pioneer in safety.
