Abstract

Kata kunci : campuran , viscositas, Kp, Ki, Kd, error ABSTRACT In PT.GDG especially in Bobst 820 machines mixing between ink and diluent is still done manually on each printing unit, whereas each printing unit requires different viscosity level, the manual way to mix and determine the viscosity is less precise and efficient. With the above problems, the researchers created a tool where the mixed viscosity between the ink and the diluent can be achieved automatically by using PID control as the servo position regulator for the valve drive and to know the mixed viscosity produced by the researcher using the Water Flow sensor as flow rate meter and using tube trial to determine the viscosity of the liquid by counting the drip time on the tube until finish using Proximity E18-D50NK sensor. Here the researchers used drip time during 60s to show high viscosity and drip time 21s to show low viscosity level. From the tests that have been done, it was found that the viscosity value for drip time 60s was 2,254 poise with error 5,76%, and for drip time 21s got viscosity value 1,503 poise with error 6,89%. As for the optimal PID obtained value Kp = 5, Ki = 1, Kd = 0 with an error of 10.4% for drip time 60s and error value 7.38% for drip time 21s. Keywords: mix, viscosity, Kp, Ki, Kd, error
