ABSTRAK BG. RIMAU 3318 adalah kapal tongkang pengangkut batu bara yang melakukan emergency docking di PT. Dok Pantai Lamongan. Sebelum proses replating, dilakukan pengujian UTT (Ultrasosic Thickness Test) pada lambung kapal untuk mengukur ketebalan plat. Apabila ketebalan plat berkurang 20% dari tebal awal maka plat harus diganti. Pada proses replating tidak bisa dilakukan dengan sembarangan melainkan dibutuhkan perencanaan yang bagus agar mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Pada proses pemotongan lambung tidak bisa langsung dipotong sekaligus melainkan secara bertahap agar tidak terjadi perubahan bentuk ( Deformasi) pada lambung kapal. Perhitungan estimasi kebutuhan plat dan jam orang yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui banyaknya plat yang dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan plat untuk proses replating kapal BG. Rimau 3318 pada bagian side shell adalah 19302,31 kg dan pada bagian bottom shell adalah 91526,87 kg, total kebutuhan plat adalah 110829,18 kg. Perhitungan jam orang untuk bagian side shell adalah 473,78 JO dan untuk bagian bottom shell adalah 4631,23 JO. Total kebutuhan jam orang untuk replating adalah 5105 JO. Kata kunci : replating, jam orang, BG. Rimau 3318 ABSTRACT BG. 3318 RIMAU is a coal-carrying barges that do an emergency docking at PT. Dok Pantai Lamongan. Prior to replatingprocess, conducted testing UTT (Ultrasosic Thickness Test) on the hull to measure the thickness of the plate. If the plate thickness is reduced to 20% of the initial thickness then the plate should be replaced. On replating process cannot be done in vain but rather a good planning is needed in order to get maximum results. In the process of cutting the hull could not immediately cut all at once but in stages so as not to change the form (Deformation) in hull. Calculation of the estimated needs of the plat and men hours aiming to find out the number plate is needed. The results of this study indicate that the need for the process of plate replating ship BG. Rimau 3318 on the side shell is 19302.31 kg and at the bottom shell was 91526.87 kg, the total needs of the plate is 110829.18 kg. Calculation of the men hours, people for the side shell is 473.78 JO and for the bottom shell is 4631.23 JO. The total needs of the man hours for replating is 5105 JO.
