ABSTRAK Vacuum test merupakan salah satu jenis NDT (Non Destructive Test). Pengujian ini merupakan metode pada daerah jalur lasan (welding seams) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya kebocoran atau crack. Vacuum Test ini dilakukan hanya pada welding seams yang ditemukan pada pelat yang datar. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada empat jenis kapal yang berbeda baik dari ukuran dan bentuknya, dimana perlakuan pengujian tetap sama seperti prosedur pengujian vacuum. Pertama hasil dari pengujian vacuum tersebut dapat dianalisa bahwa beberapa bagian sambungan pengelasan memiliki kebocoran. Kedua setelah dilakukan pengujian dapat diketahui penyebab dari kebocoran pada bagian sambungan pengelasan tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa hasil pengujian vacuum beberapa bagian mengalami kebocoran ketika dilakukan pengujian vacuum. Kebocoran pada sambungan pengelasan dapat disebabkan oleh arus yang digunakan maupun lama waktu yang digunakan welder ketika melakukan pengelsan tersebut. Kata kunci : uji tanpa merusak, uji vacuum test, hasil pengujian, penyebab kebocoran. ABSTRACT Vacuum test is one type of NDT (Non Destructive Test). This test is a method on the welding seams (welding seams) to determine whether there is leak or crack. Vacuum Test is performed only on welding seams found on flat plates. This test is performed on four different types of vessels of both size and shape, where the test treatment remains the same as the vacuum testing procedure. The first result of the vacuum test can be analyzed that some parts of the welding joint have leakage. Secondly after the test can be known the cause of the leak on the welding connection section. Based on the tests that have been done is known that the results of testing some parts vacuum leak when tested vacuum. Leaks in welded joints can be caused by the current used and the length of time the welder uses when performing the settling.
