ABSTRAK Penambahan peralatan baru berupa kompresor pada PT. Lapindo Brantas Inc. bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan produksi sumur gas yang tengah menurun. Operasional mesin kompresor menimbulkan kebisingan pada area penduduk yaitu sebesar 88.8 dBA dari pengukuran kebisingan yang dilakukan dengan jumlah titik 3782 dan berjarak 3 meter setiap titiknya, sehingga sek itar area kompresor PT. Lapindo Brantas Inc. berdasarkan KEPMEN LH No.48/MENLH/11/2016 dapat dikatakan melebihi nilai baku mutu yang diperkenankan untuk di daerah pemukiman sebesar 55 dBA. selanjutnya dilakukan pengendalian menggunakan enclosure dengan tipe full enclosure pada unit area kompresor pada PT. Lapindo Brantas Inc. Pemilihan material dalam perancangan enclosure ini adalah Micro Perforated Panel dari ampas tebu dengan variasi face leaf pelepah pinang, pelepah pisang, dan kulit jagung berdasarkan bahan yang mudah didapat dan relatif murah. Selanjutnya material MPP dilakukan pengujian koefisien serap bunyi dengan metode menggunakan tabung impedansi dua mikrofon mengacu pada prosedur ASTM E-1050-98, dan dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan transmission loss agar dapat diketahui Noise Reduction (NR). Enclosure yang dirancang harus memiliki kemampuan redam kebisingan minimal sebesar 38.8 dBA, dan hasil perhitungan lapisan dinding material MPP dan batu bata memiliki kemampuan redam 82.06 dBA, dan asbes 46.18 dBA. Berdasarkan perhitungan maka desain enclosure dari ketiga bahan tersebut layak diterapkan. Lapindo Brantas aims to increase the production capacity of gas wells being decreased. Material selection in design of this enclosure is micro perforated Panel from cane dregs with the face of betel nut stem of leaves, the stem of banana leaf, leather and corn based on ingredients that are easily obtainable and relatively cheap. Further testing done MPP material coefficient of sound absorbency with impedance tube method uses two microphones refer to procedure ASTM E-1050-98, and proceed with the calculation of transmission loss in order to be known Noise Reduction (NR). An enclosure designed should have minimal noise reduction capability of 38.8 dBA, and the results of the calculation layers of wall materials and bricks MPP has the ability reduction 82.06 dBA, and asbestos is 46.18 dBA.
