Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses pickling merupakan salah satu proses pembersihan logam dengan larutan asam di perusahaan fabrikator pipa yang menghasilkan limbah water rinse. Kondisi eksisting limbah water rinse yang disalurkan ke IPAL tidak memenuhi baku mutu kawasan industri pada tahun 2016 yaitu Besi (Fe) 209.4 mg/L, Krom (Cr) 44,6 mg/L; Nikel (Ni) 27,01 mg/L; dan pH 3,5; serta profil kesehatan spirometri terakhir tahun 2013, pekerja yang menangani limbah water rinse di area pickling yang mengalami restriksi dan obstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) untuk identifikasi bahaya pembuangan limbah water rinse ditinjau dari dampak ke pekerja, lingkungan, dan perusahaan. Penggunaan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk memperoleh minimal cut set risiko beserta upaya pengendalian sesuai dengan hirarki pengendalian risiko. Penentuan komposisi Ca(OH)2 dalam proses penetralan dan presipitasi kadar logam Fe, Ni, dan Cr yang terlarut dalam limbah water rinse pickling dengan pendekatan grafik solubility. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh total risiko sebanyak 30 risiko dengan 3 risiko digunakan sebagai top event FTA, 19 minimal cut set, hasil rekomendasi K3 berjumlah 19 rekomendasi, dan komposisi agen Ca(OH)2 yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 0,558552 kg/hari pada limbah water rinse. Kata Kunci : HIRARC, FTA, limbah water rinse, logam berat, Ca(OH)2 , fabrikator pipa ABSTRACT The pickling process is one of the process of cleaning metal with acid solution in the pipe fabrikator company that produces waste water rinse. Existing waste water rinse condition which is channeled to IPAL does not meet the standard of industrial estate in 2016 that is Iron (Fe) 209.4 mg/L, Chromium (Cr) 44,6 mg/L; Nickel (Ni) 27.01 mg/L; and pH 3.5; as well as the final spirometry health profile of 2013, workers handling waste water rinse in pickling areas undergoing restriction and obstruction. This research used Hazard Identification Risk Assessment & Risk Control (HIRARC) method to identify the hazard of waste disposal of water rinse in terms of impact to workers, environment, and company. The used of Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to obtain minimum cut set of risk along with control effort in accordance with hierarchy of risk control. Determination of Ca(OH)2 composition in the process of neutralization and precipitation of Fe, Ni, and Cr content dissolved in water rinse pickling waste with solubility chart approach. Based on the result of the research, total risk as much as 30 risk with 3 risks is used as FTA top event, 19 minimum cut set, 19 K3 recommendation, and composition of Ca(OH)2 agent required 0,558552 kg/day on waste water Rinse.
