Abstract

ABSTRAK Lingkungan kerja yang buruk dapat mengakibatkan munculnya gejala Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) bagi para penghuni gedung atau bangunan, SBS berdampak kepada penurunan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kondisi lingkungan kerja yang berpengaruh pada terjadinya sick building syndrome (SBS) pada karyawan di gedung perkantoran perusahaan fabrikasi pipa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistik uji korelasi pearson dan uji pengaruh menggunakan regresi linier berganda serentak dan parsial. Hasil Pengukuran kondisi lingkungan kerja di gedung perkantoran perusahaan fabrikasi pipa mayoritas tidak memenuhi standar. Karyawan yang mengalami SBS sebanyak 82,3% dan gejala SBS yang paling banyak di rasakan (rasa lelah, hidung bersin, sakit kepala, dan batuk-batuk). Hasil uji regresi linier berganda secara parsial, menunjukkan bahwa suhu, kelembaban, dan pencahayaan memiliki pengaruhi signifikan terhadap SBS dengan p-Value < 0,1 sedangkan hasil uji secara serentak menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara variabel bebas dan terikat. Rekomendasi untuk mencegah terjadinya SBS adalah melakukan pengaturan suhu dan kelembaban sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No 48 Tahun 2016 tentang Standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Perkantoran, membuka jendela selama 1 jam dan melakukan penambahan pencahayaan di engineering room dan plant manager room. Kata Kunci : Kelembaban, kecepatan aliran udara, pencahayaan, sick building syndrome, suhu ABSTRACT A poor office environment is as the main factor that can cause a Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) to the employers who works within and it having a significant effect to work productivity decrement. Being held in a pipe fabrication factory office as an object, the research is about how to identify SBS trigger factors and how to prevent it. By using pearson corellation statistic method and influence test uses multiple regresion jointly and partially. It shows that the object is not complied with minimum standard. Around 82,3 % workers were affected with SBS. Exhausted, sneezing, headache, and cough is to be the most SBS symptoms occurred. From the result partial test shows that temperature, humidity and lighting has a significant role toward SBS occurrence, p-Value < 0,1 whereas joint test show that there are impacts between free variable and bound variable. The recommendation to overcome temperature and humidity problem is to adjust temperature and humidity accordingly, referring to Health of Minister Regulation No. 48-2016 for Occupational Safety and Health Standards Office, mentioned that it is necessary to open windows in daily within an hour.
