ABSTRAK Banyak faktor yang dapat mengakibatkan gejala SBS seperti karakteristik individu pegawai dan faktor fisik ruangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh karakteristik individu pegawai dan faktor fisik ruangan dengan gejala SBS pada pegawai Gedung Utama Perusahaan Fabrikasi Kapal. Hubungan kedua variabel tersebut, dianalisis menggunakan chi-square. Pengaruh kedua variabel, dianalisis dengan uji regresi logistik ordinal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Pegawai Gedung Utama Perusahaan Fabrikasi Kapal yang mengalami gejala SBS sebanyak 54,84 % (34 pegawai). Gejala yang paling banyak dialami oleh responden adalah iritasi mata, hidung dan sakit kepala. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa faktor karakteristik individu pegawai dan faktor fisik yang memiliki pengaruh secara significant dengan gejala SBS adalah umur (p = 0,014), masa kerja (0,017), pencahayaan (p = 0,014) dan suhu (p = 0,004). Rekomendasi yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendidikan, peregangan dan aktivitas fisik, pembudayakan perilaku hidup sehat, inspeksi, pemeliharaan dan penggantian watt lampu, maintenance dan penggantian PK AC, penggaturan tata letak meja kerja pegawai, membuka jendela ruangan minimal 1 jam setiap hari. Kata kunci : faktor fisik, karakteristik individu, SBS. ABSTRACT Many factors can cause SBS symptoms such as individual characteristics of employees and physical factors of the room. This study aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics of employees and physical factors of the room with SBS symptoms on employees Main Building Company Fabrication Ship. The relationship between these two variables was analyzed using chi-square. The influence of both variables, analyzed by ordinal logistic regression test. Based on the result of research, it is found that the Main Building Employee of Ship Fabricating Company experiencing SBS symptom is 54,84% (34 employees). The most common symptoms experienced by respondents are irritation of the eyes, nose and headache. The result of this research showed that the characteristic factors of individual employees and physical factors that have significant influence with SBS symptoms are age (p = 0,014), working period (0,017), lighting (p = 0,014) and temperature (p = 0,004). The recommendations include providing training and education, stretching and physical activity, developing healthy life behavior, inspecting, maintaining and replacing the wattage of lamps, maintenance and replacement of AC PK, laying the work desk, opening the room window at least 1 hour per day.
