Abstract

ABSTRAK UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) memberi daya sementara ketika daya utama mengalami kegagalan sehingga beban tidak mengalami pemadaman. UPS sangat dibutuhkan pada perusahaan agar ketika terjadi pemadaman, beban esensial dapat terus teraliri listrik. UPS dipasang pada beberapa peralatan listrik untuk aplikasi gedung dan AFL (AirField Lighting System). Setiap UPS yang dipasang pada keduanya sangat berbeda karakteristiknya. Diperlukan pendataan terlebih dahulu sebelum memutuskan pemasangan UPS, agar UPS yang digunakan sesuai dengan standart yang diperlukan untuk menjadi supply catu daya cadangan sementara. Kapasitas Suplai UPS pada Gedung Terminal diketahui lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan Airfield Lighting System, dimana kapasitas Suplai UPS pada Gedung Terminal sebesar 32.988VA, sedangkan kapasitas suplai UPS pada Airfield Lighting System sebesar 65.913VA. Nilai %THDi yang dihasilkan pada Airfield Lighting System sang atlah besar hingga mencapai 34,08%, sedangkan pada Gedung Terminal %THDi nya hanya mencapai 10,75% saja. Hal ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan dalam menentukan UPS yang sesuai dengan karakteristik bebannya masing- masing. Kata Kunci: AFL (AirField Lighting System ), Beban Esensial , Catu daya cangan , UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) ABSTRACT UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) as temporary power supplier when the main power fail so that the bad do not fail as well. UPS is really needed by an Company, so when electrical fail happened, the essential bad for the aviation can still supplied by electrical flow. UPS is installed to some electrical tools for the passenger terminal building and Airfield Lighting System (AFL). Each UPS that was installed Building Load Application had a very different characteristics. Data collection is needed before deciding to install UPS, so that the UPS can be used according to the standart to become a backup power supply. UPS used in accordance with the standard required to become a temporary backup power supply. Terminal Building UPS Supply Capacity is smaller than Airfield Lighting System, UPS Supply capacity at Terminal Building is 32.988VA, while Airfield Lighting System supply capacity is 65.913VA. The value of % THDi on the Airfield Lighting System up to 34,08%, while Terminal Building is 10,75%. With this analysis can help determine the UPS according to the load characteristics.
