PERANCANGAN PERANCAH TIPE TUBE AND COUPLER MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE SAP2000 DAN PENERAPAN DROPPED OBJECT PREVENTION SCHEME (DROPS) PADA REFINERY TANK FARM AREA UNTUK MENCEGAH KECELAKAAN AKIBAT BENDA TERJATUH

Abstrak

PT. X merupakan perusahaan pengolahan Crude Palm Oil (CPO) yang telah memproduksi berbagai hasil olahan berupa bio-diesel dan minyak goreng, Dalam proses pengolahan CPO tidak terlepas dari media penyimpanan (storage) baik dari hasil olahan maupun masih berupa bahan mentah, sehingga PT. X membutuhkan banyak media penyimpanan. Dengan meningkatnya kuantitas produksi yang diikuti dengan kebutuhan pasar, maka peningkatan kuantitas produksi diperlukan sehingga diperlukan adanya penambahan media penyimpanan berupa storage tank pada refinery tank farm area, pada proses manufaktur tangki yang berlangsung pada lokasi tersebut, kerap terjadi kecelakaan yang terkait dengan ketinggian dan obyek terjatuh (dropped object), penerapan perancah bracket scaffolding masih menimbulkan kecelakaan berupa kegagalan platform yang kurang kokoh dan juga kecelakaan akibat benda terjatuh masih terjadi pada proses manufaktur. Tugas akhir ini terkait perancangan perancah tipe Tube and Coupler kelas Special Duty dan penerapan proses Dropped Object Prevention Scheme yang bersifat aplikatif, mampu diterapkan pada proses manufaktur refinery tank farm area, perancangan ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan standar teknis DEPNAKERTRANS dan AISC-LRFD 1999 yang merupakan standar dalam perancangan struktur baja, penerapan Dropped Object Prevention Scheme (DROPS) pada refinery tank farm area membutuhkan komitmen manajemen dalam implementasinya oleh specific site dropped object workgroup. Struktur perancah yang telah dirancang dilakukan simulasi dan kontrol defleksi (Ymax) akibat beban merata (qD) dengan nilai 0.06244972 cm dan beban terpusat (PL) dengan nilai 0.00439334 cm, kedua lendutan yang terjadi masih berada di bawah defleksi ijin (Yijin) pada 0.417 cm, diperoleh hasil bahwa rancangan telah memenuhi persyaratan defleksi ijin dengan beban terpusat (PL) aman pada 90 kg. Pada penerapan proses DROPS diperoleh DROPS Hazard Zone yang menunjukkan bahwa area kerja tangki 5000 ton memiliki DROPS Score Fatality, diperlukan adanya langkah pengawasan terhadap setiap tools dan equipments yang digunakan, pelaksanaan Hazard Hunt perlu secara rutin dengan tujuan mengeliminasi setiap tools and equipments yang berpotensi terjatuh di area kerja.


Abstract

PT. X is a company that use Crude Palm Oil (CPO) as their raw material to make many products such as bio-diesel and oil. In its CPO process, it needs places to store its materials start from its raw materials until finishing products. Because demanded quantity from customer of product, PT. X needs a lot of places to store CPO beside depend on its supply. With increased demand for company products, they needs to increase their stock. As the result, they need more storage to place their materials. The storage for this CPO is storage tank that placed on refinery tank farm area. Because of its extension to make more storages, PT. X needs to build another tanks on farm area. Negative effect of extension is increasing accident on the site due to working at high and dropped object. Bracket scaffolding that applied for that work still cause many accidents because its platform weak structure. And also, the lack of protection, there are still many dropped objects from manufacture process. This final project is about planning for tube and coupler special duty class type scaffolding and implementation of Dropped Object Prevention Scheme process. Purpose is to create applicative design for both of scaffolding and dropped object prevention scheme process on refinery tank farm area manufacturing process. Design based on DEPNAKERTRANS and AISC-LRFD 1999 technical standard. Standard is about qualification of steel structural design and application of Dropped Object Prevention Scheme (DROPS) on refinery tank farm area. Management shall commits in its implementation by specific site dropped object workgroup. Design of scaffolding structure will be simulated and deflection controlled based on two load conditions, for deflection caused by prevalent load (qD) at 0.06244972 cm, and deflection caused by centered load (PL) at 0.00439334 cm, amount of deflection fulfill from both condition still below of approved deflection limit (Yijin) at 0.417 cm. Results yields into an approved design with safe centered load at 90 kg. In application of DROPS process, the result on DROPS Hazard Zone shows that 5000 ton tank working area 5000 ton has DROPS Score at Fatality, so that it needs close attention for every tools and equipment that used. Hazard Hunt shall be done often to decrease quantity of potential tools and equipment that might be dropped on working area.
