Abstrak

Bantalan (bearing) adalahelemenmesin yang menumpuporos (shaft) berbeban, sehinggaputaranataugerakbolak-baliknyadapatberlangsungsecarahalus, aman, dantahan lama. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia sudahmengaturtentangstandartkelonggaran (clearance) porosterhadapbantalan yang harusditaati.Namunkerusakanpadabantalanseringterjadibukanhanyakarenasalahperawatan.Namundesainbantalanjugaperludiperhatikan agar bantalantidakmudahaus.Bantalanpada stern tube KM. Orion Star mengalamitingkatkeausan yang cukupbesarpadasetiaptahunnya. Hal tersebutterjadidikarenakanperancanganbantalanporos stern tube terjadikesalahanukuranbaiktebaldanpanjangbantalan. It occurs within large enough if compared with desaibantalang the old one.Any load that is capable of being received bantlan 110 kg. and the days of design bearing seven years.
