Abstrak

ABSTRAK Denganadanyaotonomidaerah yang diterapkanolehpemerintah, banyakdampak yang dirasakansetiapdaerahuntuktetapberusahamengoptimalisasikebutuhandaerahitusendiri.Saatinikapaltongkang yang umumnyamengangkuthasiltambangaktivitasangkutsangatmenurundanitumenyebabkankerugianpadapihak owner danpelayarankarenaberkurangnya income yang masukdaribiasanya.Hal inidisebabkankarenaadanyakebijakanpemerintahdalameksporpertambangan yang membuatparaperusahaantambangtidakdapatmengeksporsumberdayaalam mineral dalambentukmentah.Jadihalinimembuatturunnyaaktivitasmenggunakankapaltongkang. Berdasarkanhaltersebutakhirnyamuncul ide agar kapaltongkanggeladaktersebut di konversikanmenjaditongkangcontainersehinggakapaltersebutmasihdapattetapberoperasidanmampumengangkutmuatanbanyakdenganmemperhatikankondisistabilitas yang baikdansesuaidenganIMO (International Maritime Organization). Container Barge berukuran20 feetinimampumengangkutjumlahmaksimal 225 container denganberatmuatanmaksimal 20 ton dan displacement 5865,90 Ton pada draft maksimal.Perubahanhanyaterjadipadageladakyaitupenambahansepatu container sebanyak 315 buah di sepanjanggeladak.Analisaperhitunganstabilitasdilakukandalam 5 kondisipemuatan. Dari hasilanalisastabilitassesuaikriteria IMO kondisididapatlahnilai GZ tertinggipadakondisikapalkosongdengansudutkemiringanmaksimum 30 degpada 7,427m danpadakondisimembawa muatan169 container kapalmengalamiperbedaansarat yang signifikan AP dan FP yaitu 70cm. Abstract

Abstract With the regional autonomy that applied by the government, many perceived impacts each region to keep optimalizing its needs. Nowadays, transporting mining products activities which normally done by barge are greatly reduced and it caused loss, because of reduced income than usual. This has led owners of barge changes the cargo from coal and sand to containers. It changes the stability of barge. So that, recalculation of stability should be done to see if barge that loaded with containers has good stability and fit to IMO (International Maritim Organization). Based on those analysis, stability happens in five (5) loading condition, which are 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and empty. Stability analysis is done by using a software named Maxsurf Stability and guided by IMO Criteria. This 20-feet barge could carry 225 containers of 20-ton in maximum and displacement 5865,9-ton in maximum draft. The changes only occured in deck, which is extra 315 pcs container shoes along the deck. From the result of stability analysis due to IMO criteria, GZ point is the highest on the condition of the empty barge with tilt angle 30 deg on 7.427 m in maximum and when barge carried 169 containers, it had a highly significant difference on AP and FP, which is 70 cm.
