ABSTRAK Salah satu faktor penting dalam keselamatan sebuah kapal adalah kapal tersebut mempunyai sistem pemadam yang baik sesuai peraturan yang ada. Dalam hal pengeluaran surat- surat kapal salah satunya kap al tersebut harus mempunyai sistem emergency fire pump. Menurut BKI dimana sistem harus terpasang pada kapal- kapal tertentu yang berlayar di perairan Indonesia Permasalahan dalam hal ini adalah tidak terpasangnya sistem emergency fire pump sesuai aturan yang berlaku pada kapal KM. ASIA P ESONA. Dalam peraturan BKI Volume III bagian 14 disebutkan bahwa kapal kurang dari 2000 GT harus memiliki pompa pemadam kebakaran darurat. Berarti kapal – kapal yang berlayar di perairan indonesia dengan kriteria khusus harus memiliki pompa pemadam kebakaran darurat. Terpasangnya sistem emergency fire pump pada kapal KM. ASIA PESONA perlu mendapat tinjauan khusus atau studi lanjut bagaimana pemasangan yang baik menurut peraturan yang berlaku. Dalam perencanaan ini telah direncanakan sebaik mungkin bahwa pompa yang digunakan adalah jenis sentrifugal dengan nilai perencanaan sebesar 25 m 3 dan head pompa sebesar 32 m sedangkan daya output pompa sebesar 2,23 Kw. Namun dalam pemilihan pompa digunakan merk Milano Centrifugal Pump dengan tipe 50 x 32 – 160 dan daya sebesar 5,5 Kw dengan Head sebesar maksimal 120 m. Dan generator untuk sumber listrik dipilih dengan merk Yanmar dengan model 3TNV76 dan model GBW10Y dan power sebesar 9Kw Kata Kunci : Emergency Fire Pump, BKI Volume III, Pompa Sentrifugal . ABSTRACT One important factor in the safety of a ship is that it has a good extinguishing system in accordance with existing regulations. In case of dispatch of ship letters, one of them must have an emergency fire pump system. According to BKI where the system must be installed on certain ships that sail in the waters of Indonesia The problem in this case is not installed emergency fire pump system according to the rules applicable on ship KM. ASIA PESONA. In the regulation of BKI Volume III section 14, it is mentioned that ships less than 2000 GT must have emergency fire pumps. This means that ships sailing in Indonesian waters with special criteria must have emergency fire pumps. The installation of emergency fire pump system on KM. ASIA PESONA ship needs to get a intensive review or further study such as how good the good installation according to applicable regulation. This planning has been planet as efficiently as possible that the pump used is a centrifugal type with a planning value of 25 m 3 and a pump head of 32 m. While, the pump output power is 2,23 Kw. But in the selection of pumps used Milano Centrifugal Pump brand with type 50 x 32 – 160 by the power of 5,5 Kw with head for a maximum of 120 m.
