Abstract

ABSTRAK Aplikasi system perpipaan untuk mentransfer fluida banyak kita jumpai da-lam dunia industri. pada fenomena water hammer pada pipa Spray HP By Pass turbin merupakan salah satu parameter yang harus diperhitungkan. Fenomena ini terjadi karena adanya kenaikan gelombang tekanan yang dapat menyebabkan nilai positif maupun negatif. Dampak dari fenomena ini bervariasi mulai dari dapat me-nyebabkan pergeseran pada support pipa sebesar 5 cm, menimbulkan getaran (vibrasi), memperpendek umur peralatan, serta dengan konsekuensi seluruh sistem peralatan harus mati total (shutdown). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya distribusi tekanan aki-bat water hammer pada pipa Spray HP By Pass Turbin. Analisa tegangan,beban statis dan beban dinamis yang terjadi disimulasikan menggunakan software Caesar II. Untuk memberikan penyelesaian atau solusi pada perusahaan agar tidak men-galami water hammer kembali. Dari hasil perhitungan diketahui bahwa kenaikan tekanan akibat water hammer sebesar 2661,32 psi. Nilai tegangan dari beban menunjukan bahwa analisis dinamis memiliki nilai lebih besar daripada analisis statis. Untuk mereduksi getaran akibat water hammer dapat dilakukan desain ulang jarak antar support. Sehingga support dapat menyerap vibrasi yang terjadi pada pipa. This phenomenon occurs be-cause of an increase in pressure that may lead to phase positive and negative val-ues. The impact of this phenomenon varies from can cause a shift in support pipe by 5 cm, causing vibration shorten the life of the equipment, as well as with the consequences of the whole system the equipment must shutdown. This study was plant to determine the distribution of pressure due to water hammer in the pipes spray HP By Pass turbines, stress analysys, load static and dynamic loads that occur simulated using Caesar II software. To provide a solu-tions to the company so as not to water hammer comeback. From the calculation it is known that the increase in pressure due to water hammer at 2661.32 psi. stress of the load of showing that the dynamic analysis has a value greater than the static analysis. To reduce the vibration from water hammer to do the re-design support. So that support can absorb the vibrations that occur in the pipe.
