ABSTRAK Aplikasi dari sistem perpipaan untuk jalur fluida banyak kita jumpai pada dunia industri. Pada fenomena Water Hammer pressure pada sistem perpipaan tersebut, merupakan salah satu parameter yang harus diperhitungkan dalam suatu sistem perpipaan diindustri. Fenomena ini terjadi karena adanya kenaikan gelombang tekanan yang dapat menyebabkan nilai negatif. Dampak dari fenomena tersebut sangat bervariasi mulai dari timbulnya getaran sampai pecahnya dinding pipa akibat besarnya gelombang dan tekanan yang terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk dapat mengetahui serta menentukan distribusi tekanan akibat water hammer, tegangan yang telah dioptimasi dan disimulasikan dengan software caesar, serta memberikan penyelesaian atau solusi pada perusahaan agar tidak mengalami water hammer kembali. penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tekanan terbesar terjadi pada katub penutup,terjadi kenaikan tekanan sebesar 44 bar. Dan untuk mengurangi lonjakan tekanan digunakan akumulator dari pemodelan software pipenet. Hasil penelitian dengan software menunjukan stress yang dihasilkan ketika terjadi efek water hammer sebesar 18939.3 psi pada tekanan 44 bar dan setelah memakai akumulator menurun sebesar 18707.9 psi pada tekanan 42 bar. Kata kunci: pipa CEP (condensate extraction pump), Water Hammer, dan CAESAR II 2014. ABSTRACT The application of piping system for fluid track is well-known in the industry. Phenomenon of Water Hammer Pressure on piping system is one of parameter which should be considered in the piping system in industry. This phenomenon happened because there was ascension of pressure waves which can be caused negative score. The effect of that phenomenon could be varied such as there were vibration and wall of pipe could be broken as well because the magnitude of waves and pressure which happened. This research was aimed to know and to determine distribution of pressure as the effect of Water Hammer, voltage which had optimized and simulate by using CAESAR software, also gave solution for companies to avoid Water Hammer again. The result of this research showed that the biggest pressure happened in valve cover, and there was ascension in the amount of 13 bar. Accumulator from modeling software pipenet was used to decrease the ascension of pressure. The result by using the software shows the stress generated when the effect of water hammer in 18939.3 psi at a pressure of 44 bar and after using accumulators decreased in 18707.9 psi at a pressure of 42 bar.
