ABSTRAK Untuk menunjang proses produksi di pabrik amonia PT. Petrokimia Gresik diperlukan penambahan pompa dan jalur pipa baru. Rooting pipa telah dilakukan oleh unit pemeliharaan pabrik satu, dimana kondisi sekitar area line sudah sangat penuh sesak dengan bangunan maupun line pipa lainnya. Line suction terdiri dari pipa 12 inch dan 10 inch sedangkan line discharge terdiri dari pipa 8 inch dan 10 inch. Pompa yang digunakan adalah centrifugal pump dengan side nozzle suction dan discharge. Perhitungan yang dilakukan adalah perhitungan tegangan akibat beban sustain, okasi dan ekspansi menggunakan software Caesar II dan perhitungan manual. Nilai tegangan kemudian dianalisa menggunakan standard ASME B31.3. Selanjutnya perhitungan beban dan momen pada nozzle dianalisa menggunakan standard API 610. Terakhir adalah mengevaluasi jumlah, jenis dan posisi support yang digunakan pada desain. Hasil perhitungan tegangan manual dan software keduanya masih dibawah allowable stress material ASME B31.3. Nilai stress tertinggi akibat beban sustain terdapat pada segmen 9 yaitu sebesar 16368 psi, nilai stress tertinggi akibat beban occasional sebesar 24040 psi pada segmen 9, sedangkan nilai stress tetinggi akibat beban expansi terjadi pada segmen 6 sebesar 17966 psi. Ditambahkan 3 support didekat nozzle pump karena hasil analisa pada desain existing tidak memenuhi kriteria nozzle load API 610. Support yang digunakan pada desain ini berjumlah 11 support dengan 8 saddle support dan 3 dummy support. Kata kunci : PT. Petrokimia Gresik, Amonia,ASME B31.3, API 610, Jalur pipa, Centrifugal pump ABSTRACT To support the production process at the plant ammonia PT. PKG required the addition of new pumps and pipelines. Rooting pipe has been done by the maintenance unit of the plant, where conditions around the line area is already very crowded with buildings or other pipe line. Suction lines consist of pipes 12 inch and 10 inch while the discharge path consists of a pipe 8 inch and 10 inch. Pumps used are centrifugal pumps with suction and discharge nozzle side. Stress calculations on design is stress due to sustained load, occasional load and expansion load using Caesar II software and manual calculations. the result of the calculation is then analyzed using standard ASME B31.3. Furthermore, the calculation of loads and moments at the pump nozzle is analyzed using a standard API 610. Lastly is t o evaluate the number, type and position of the support used in the design. The results of stress calculations manual and software are both still below the allowable stress of material ASME B31.3. The highest stress value due to sustained loads contained in the segment 9 is equal to 16 368 psi, the value of the highest stress due to the occasional load of 24040 psi on segment 9, and the value of stress due to expansion load in segment 6 of 17966 psi. Added 3 support near the pump nozzle for results of analysis on existing designs do not meet the criteria of API 610.
