Abstract

ABSTRAK Inlet gas cooler merupakan unit yang berfungsi untuk mendinginkan fluida dari inlet gas compressor, fluida tersebut akan didinginkan semaksimal mungkin menggunakan udara. Fluida selanjutnya mengalir menuju inlet gas exchanger dan sebagian akan dikembalikan lagi ke inlet gas compressor melewati jalur anti surging. Anti surging merupakan jalur yang berfungsi menjaga kesetabilan debit masukan inlet gas compressor menggunakan katup anti surge controller (440-FV-110). Beberapa cara mencegah surging diantaranya menambah flow dari proses ke compressor atau mengurangi rasio tekanan dengan cara mengurangi tekanan discharge atau menambah tekanan suction. Latar belakang masalah pada desain modifikasi gas line dari Inlet gas cooler menuju inlet gas compressor yaitu akibat trend flow gas makin menurun sehingga dikhawatirkan berakibat pada compressor. Untuk itu diperlukan penggantian diameter pipa dengan harapan menaikkan tekanan pada suction compressor. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan head loss pada design system perpipaan new dan existing, untuk mengetahui nilai tekanan pada output pipa. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan ketebalan minimum untuk menetukan schedule minimal yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini juga menghitung kebutuhan daya compressor sehingga dapat diketahui perbandingan antara existing design dan new design. Perhitungan CES (cost estimated service) mencakup biaya material, man power, tools and equipment, dan prefabrikasi. Pergantian diameter pipa sepanjang ±10 meter (line no 3) dari 8 inch ke 4 inch berdampak pada kenaikan tekanan suction compressor dari 35.38 Bar ke 37.16 Bar, Akibatnya kebutuhan daya compressor menjadi turun dari 21.305 HP menjadi 19.287 HP. Pipa 4 inch membutuhkan jumlah support sebanyak 3 buah dengan jarak antar support maksimal 4.3 meter dan total biaya penggantian yang dibutuhkan sebesar 14383.07 US. Kata kunci : Desain perpipaan, Headloss. CES, Surging ABSTRACT Inlet gas cooler is a unit which serves to cool the fluid from inlet gas compressor, the fluid will be cooled using air as much as possible. Then the fluid will be flows toward to inlet gas exchanger, but some of it will be return to inlet gas compressor. Gas passes through anti surging system. Anti surging system is a path that serves to maintain the stability of gas using anti-surge valve controller (440-FV-110). Some ways to prevent surging like adds flow of the process or reduce the pressure ratio compressor by reduce the discharge pressure or increase suction pressure. Background problem on the modification of piping gas line system from inlet gas cooler to Inlet gas compressor caused by the diminishing trend of gas flow. Replacement of the pipe diameter in hopes of raising pressure on the compressor suction. This final project calculated the head loss in the piping system with new and existing design, to determine the output value of the pressure on the pipeline. Furthermore, the minimum thickness calculation to determine the minimum required schedule of the pipe. This final project also calculate the power requirements of the compressor so it can be seen a the different value of comparison between the existing design and the new design. CES (cost estimated service) calculation covers the cost of materials, man power, tools and equipment, and prefabrication. Substitution along the pipe diameter ± 10 meters (line No. 3) from 8 inch to 4 inch impact on compressor suction pressure increases from 35.38 to 37.16 Bar, the result is compressor power requirement dropped from 21 305 HP to 19 287 HP. 4 inch pipe requires a number of support 3 pieces with a maximum distance between support is 4.3 meters and the required for replacement cost of US $ 14383.07.
