ABSTRAK Terminal LPG Semarang adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang penerimaan, penimbunan dan penyaluran (3P) LPG Pertamina untuk wilayah Jawa Tengah dan D.I Yogyakarta. Untuk melaksanakan fungsi 3P tersebut dan menjaga kestabilan pasokan LPG diperlukan kehandalan dalam semua sistem yang mendukung proses di Terminal LPG Semarang. Sistem distribusi merupakan sistem terpenting dalam unit penyaluran LPG kepada konsumen, yakni penyaluran dari tanki timbun menuju ke truck skid tank yang terdapat di bangsal pengisian (filling shed). Dalam operasionalnya sehari-hari digunakan dua buah pompa sentrifugal yang bekerja secara paralel. Pada saat ini terjadi penurunan performa LPG Pump di Terminal LPG Semarang, sehingga menyebabkan waktu pengisian di truck skid tank menjadi lebih lama dari waktu normalnya. Efek dari masalah tersebut selain terjadinya inefiensi proses distribusi juga menyebabkan proses penerimaan LPG dari kapal tanker sering mengalami temporary stop karena stok LPG dari tanki timbun yang lambat dipompa oleh LPG Pump. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dan analisis yang dilakukan pada pompa P-110 dan P-120 menghasilkan debit total 0,072 m 3 /s, head pompa adalah 63,289 m, daya hidrolik pompa adalah 24,363 kW, daya motor penggerak adalah 86,227 kW. Sehingga diperoleh efisiensi pompa sebesar 28,25%. Efisiensi tersebut mengalami penurunan dari kondisi operasional awal yakni sebesar 60,15% Kata kunci :Efisiensi, Filling Shed, LPG Pump, Pompa Sentrifugal, Tanki Timbun, Truck Skid Tank, ABSTRACT Terminal LPG Semarang is a company which have the function in the receiving, storage and distribution of LPG’s Pertamina for Central Java and D.I Yogyakarta area. To implement that function and maintain a stable supply of LPG, it is required reliability in all systems that support the process in Terminal LPG Semarang. The distribution system is an important system in LPG distribution unit to the consumer. The distribution unit is a system from storage tank to truck skid tanks where located in filling shed area. In daily operational used two centrifugal pumps working in parallel. At this time there is a decrease in the performance of LPG Pump LPG Terminal Semarang, causing the loading time in the truck skid tank becomes longer than the normal time. The effects of these problems in addition to the inefiensi distribution process also causes the receiving LPG from tanker ship often temporary stop because the stock of LPG in the storage tank slowly pumped by LPG Pump. Based on the results of data processing and analysis on the pump P-110 and P-120 resulted in total flow 0,072 m 3 /s, the pump head is 63.289 m, hydraulic power pump is 24.363 kW, motor power is 86.227 kW. Thus obtained pump efficiency of 28.25%.
