ABSTRAK PT . PAL INDONESIA merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang bergerak di bidang industry galangan kapal. Kegiatan utama memproduksi kapal perang dan kapal niaga, memberikan jasa perbaikan dan pemeliharaan kapal, serta rekayasa umum dengan spesifikasi tertentu berdasarkan pesanan. PT. PAL INDONESIA adalah industry besar yang telah memasuki pasaran internasional dan kualitasnya telah diakui dunia. Kegiatan utama PT. PAL INDONESIA menghasilkan limbah B3 dari hasil olahan besi dan baja sangat banyak sekali. Limbah B3 tidak dapat begitu sajaditimbun, dibakar atau dibuang ke lingkungan. PT.PAL INDONESIA sendiri telah memiliki Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara untuk limbah B3, namun Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara ini belum sesuai dengan KepkaBapedal No.1 th 1995. Redesain TPS Limbah B3 PT.PAL INDONESIA diawali dengan pengambilan data yaitu jumlah APAR dalam ruangan, jumlah lampu, intensitas pencahayaan, jumlah ventilasi, general ventilation rate, ukuran wadah untuk limbah B3 cair, densitas limbah padat dan cair. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan berupa evaluasi kondisi TPS yang berupa evaluasi pewadahan, dan evaluasi kelengkapan peralatan TPS. Evaluasi pewadahan berupa tata letak limbah B3, pemberian symbol dan label, dan pewadahan.Sedangkan evaluasi kelengkapan peralatan TPS berupa system pencahayaan, ventilasi, APAR, detektor, instalasi petir dan Emergency Respone Plan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa dimensi gudang limbah B3 yang ada adalah 42,6 m x 35,4 m x 15 m dengan tata letak limbah sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Total luas bukaan ventilasi yang dibutuhkan adalah 87,7 m 2 , dengan jumlah tambahan ventilasi sebanyak 29 buah. Kebutuhan lampu pada TPS ini sebanyak 39 lampu menggunakan lampu pijar 300 watt untuk TPS nya, dan 6 lampu 2 x TL 40 Watt untuk ruang administrasi. Jumlah kebutuhan APAR yang di butuhkan adalah 9 buah dengan jenis APAR dry chemical. Untuk kebutuhan detektor, detektor yang digunakan adalah detektor nyala api dengan total kebutuhan detektor 48 buah.Penangkal petir yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 18 buah dengan 2 buah penghantar turunan. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan Emergency Respone Plan yaitu berupa 3 buah pintu keluar, assembly point dan arah jalur evakuasi bila terjadi keadaan darurat. PAL INDONESIA is a State-Owned Enterprises engaged in the shipbuilding industry. The main activity of producing warships and commercial vessels, providing ship repair and maintenance services, as well as general engineering with a specific order. PT. PAL INDONESIA is a huge industry that has entered the international market and the quality has been recognized worldwide. The main activity PT. PAL INDONESIA generating B3 waste from the processed iron and steel very much at all. B3 waste can not simply be dumped, burned or discharged into the environment. PT.PAL INDONESIA itself has a storage place for waste B3 meantime, however Storage Whilst this is not in accordance with Kepka BAPEDAL 1 th 1995. Redesign TPS B3 PT.PAL INDONESIA begins with taking the data that the number of fire extinguisher in the room, the number of lamps, lighting intensity, the amount of ventilation, general ventilation rate, the size of the container for B3 waste liquid, the density of solid and liquid wastes. Data processing was done by evaluating the condition of the polling stations in the form of lug evaluation, and the evaluation of completeness of SMT equipment. Evaluation form layout lug B3, giving symbols and labels, and lug. While evaluating the completeness of SMT equipment such as lighting systems, ventilation, fire extinguisher, detectors, installation of lightning and Respone Emergency Plan. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the dimensions of the existing warehouse B3 waste is 42.6 m x 35.4 m x 15 m with the layout of the waste in accordance with need. The total area of the ventilation opening is needed is 87.7 m2, with an additional amount of ventilation as much as 29 pieces. TPS needs lights on as many as 39 lights using incandescent lamps of 300 watts for its TPS, and 6 lights 2 x TL 40 Watt for administrative room. APAR required amount is needed is 9 units with the type of dry chemical fire extinguisher. For the needs of the detector, the detector in use is the flame detector with the detector needs 48 pieces total. Lightning rod is needed as many as 18 pieces with 2 pieces of conductive derivatives placed on the right side of the barn. As for planning Respone Emergency Plan in the form of three pieces of exits, assembly point and direction of an evacuation route in case of an emergency.
