ABSTRAK PT Petrokimia Gresik merupakan perusahaan berstatus BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) dalam lingkup Departemen Perindustrian dan Perdagangan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi pupuk, bahan-bahan kimia (H2SO 4, H2PO 4, CO2, Cement Retarder, Aluminium fluoride) dan jasa lainnya seperti konstruksi dan engineering (pembuatan boiler). PT Petrokimia Gresik merupakan pabrik pupuk tertua kedua di Indonesia setelah PT Pupuk Sriwijaya (PUSRI) di Palembang dan juga merupakan pabrik pupuk terlengkap diantara pabrik pupuk lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik individu dan paparan debu total terhadap gangguan faal paru pekerja bagian storage ALF3. Sampel pada peneliti ini berjumlah 28 orang dari 50 populasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengisi kuisioner dan wawancara untuk mengetahui karakteristik individu dan pengukuran paparan debu serta pemeriksaan kapasitas fungsi faal paru. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji regresi logistic binner dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 20. Hasil pengukuran dari paparan debu dibawah NAB sebesar 0,54 mg/m³ dan paparan debu diatas NAB sebesar 4,39 mg/m³. Dan hasil dari pemeriksaan kapasitas fungsi faal paru pekerja bagian storage ALF3 dari 28 responden sebanyak 12 responden tidak mengalami gangguan faal paru, 16 responden mengalami gangguan faal paru. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa pekerja bagian storage ALF3 belum mencapai kondisi yang aman. Karakteristik individu yang memiliki hubungan terhadap gangguan faal paru yaitu (X1) paparan debu dan (X6) status gizi setelah diuji menggunakan uji chi-square. Dan hasil analisis regresi logistik binner terlihat bahwa karakteristik (X1) paparan debu, (X2) usia, (X5) masa kerja, (X6) status gizi, dan (X8) kebiasaan merokok secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap gangguan faal paru dengan nilai sebesar 38,24 dengan tingkat signifikan < 5% yaitu 0,000. Kata kunci : karakteristik individu, gangguan faal paru, paparan debu ABSTRACT PT PKG is a company status SOE (State Owned Enterprises) within the Ministry of Industry and Trade is engaged in the production of fertilizers, chemicals (H2SO 4, H2PO4, CO2, Cement Retarder, Aluminium fluoride) and other services such as construction and engineering (manufacturing boilers). PT PKG is the second oldest fertilizer plants in Indonesia after PT Pupuk Sriwijaya (PUSRI) in Palembang and also a complete fertilizer plants among other fertilizer plant. This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics and total dust exposure to pulmonary function disorders of workes in ALF3 storage section. The samples in this study amounted to 28 people from 50 population. The data collection was by filling out a questionnaire and interview to determine the characteristics of respondents and dust exposure assessment and examination of pulmonary function capacity. The data was analyzed by logistic regression test using software binner SPSS version 20. The results of measurements of exposure to dust below the average NAV by 0,54 mg/m³, and measurements of dust exposure are below the average NAV by 4,39 mg/m³. And the results of the examination function capacity on the workers pulmonary function storage section ALF3 of 28 respondents as many as 12 respondents no lung function disorders, and 16 respondents impaired lung function. Characteristics of individuals who have been associated with lung function disorders, namely X1 and X6 dust exposure nutritional status after being tested using the chi-square test. And the analysis logistic regression binner seen that the characteristics of the (X1) exposure to dust, (X2) age, (X5) tenure, (X6) nutritional status, and (X8) smoking habits simultaneously significant effect against harmful lung function with a value of 38,243 with a significant level of <5%, is 0,000.
