Abstract

ABSTRAK Seiring permintaan konsumen yang membutuhkan sarana transportasi dengan biaya yang relatif kecil dan dapat meningkatkan mobilitas berbagai bentuk komoditi yang relatif beragam, sarana transportasi laut menjadi sebuah alternatif pilihan yang memiliki keunggulan tersendiri. Untuk menjawab kebutuhan tersebut, maka alternatif kapal perintis merupakan sebuah pilihan yang tepat. Dimana mobilitas kapal dapat memindahkan penumpang dan barang secara bersamaan dalam jumlah yang relatif lebih besar. Barang muatan harus tersimpan dengan baik supaya tidak rusak. Oleh sebab itu ruang muat harus kedap air, sehingga pada bagian atas ruang muat harus diberi tutup guna melindungi barang yang ada di dalam agar tidak ada air yang masuk apabila sedang hujan. Pada kegiatan survey, pihak owner meminta kepada pihak galangan untuk mendesain hatch cover (tutup palka) yang sesuai pada kapal perintis 2000GT. Kemudian dilakukan pengumpulan data - data kapal seperti gambar, General Arrangement, BKI Rules 2006 VOL II Bab 17. Setelah itu dilakukan perhitungan untuk menentukan ukuran-ukuran konstruksi palka. Perhitungan yang dikerjakan meliputi ukuran plat serta profil penegar dan dilanjutkan penggambaran desain konstruksi palka menggunakan software autoCAD. Dari perencanaan yang telah dilakukan dipilih sistem Single Pull hatch Cover. Sistem ini tidak memerlukan banyak tempat karena pembukaan dan penutupan palka dilakukan dengan cara mendorong atau menarik tiap seksi tutup lubang palka kemudian mengaturnya pada suatu tempat khusus. Selain itu untuk membuka dan menutup tutup palka sistem ini tidak membutukan waktu yang lama sehingga dapat meminimalisir biaya bongkar muat dipelabuhan. Once that was done the calculations to determine the size of the hold-sized construction. Calculation employed include the size of the plate and stiffener profile and continued construction of the hatch depiction design using AutoCAD software. From the planning that has been done Single system Pull Cover hatch. This system does not require a lot of places for opening and closing the hatch is done by pushing or pulling each section closes the hatch and then set it in a special place. In addition to opening and closing the hatch cover system is don’t need a long time so as to minimize the cost of unloading in ports.
