Abstract

ABSTRAK Conocophillips (grissik) Ltd (CPGL) memiliki sumur minyak yang terletak di grissik kabupaten musi banyuasin Sumatra selatan. Sumur yang terletak di lapangan grissik ini memproduksi oil, gas, condensate dan produced water. Fluida akan dialirkan melalui pipa pipeline yang memiliki panjang total 840 km yang berawal dari sumur grissik menuju suban, dayung, sumpal, gelam, dan letang. Sistem pipeline pada sumur ini sudah dibangun sejak 1983. Sistem pipeline dari grissik menuju suban yang berjarak 6.8 km sampai sekarang belum memiliki sistem inspeksi dan pembersihan bagian dalam pipa atau sistem pigging. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas perlu adanya sistem inspeksi dan pembersihan bagian dalam pipa atau sistem pigging. Salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem pigging adalah pig launcher, pada penelitian kali ini akan melakukan detail perancangan pig launcher. Perancangan dilakukan tiga kali dengan memvariasikan material pig launcher. Variasi material pig launcher antara lain API 5L-X56, API 5L-X60, dan API 5L-X65. Variasi material bertujuan mencari rancangan pig launcher yang terbaik. Rancangan pig launcher yang terbaik diharapkan dapat memberi masukan dan pertimbangan kepada perusahaan serta sebagai kompetensi dasar mahasiswa yang nantinya dapat diterapkan di dunia industri. Rancangan pig launcher menunjukan hasil dimensi, umur dan juga harga yang berbeda – beda. Pig launcher terbaik didapatkan melalui beberapa analisa. Analisa dilakukan melalui perbandingan umur dan estimasi harga pembuatan pig launcher. Hasil rancangan menunjukan material API 5L-X56 adalah material terbaik yang memiliki umur 11.68 tahun dan estimasi harga pembuatan sebesar Rp. 73.995.449,00. Kata kunci : pipeline, system pigging, pig launcher. ABSTRACT ConocoPhillips (Grissik) Ltd (CPGL) has oil wells located in the district Grissik musi banyuasin southern Sumatra. Wells located in Grissik field produces oil, gas, condensate and produced water. The fluid will flow through a pipeline pipeline has a total length of 840 km that starts from the well Grissik toward splinter, paddle, stopper, gelam, and Letang. Pipeline systems in these wells has been built since 1983. The pipeline system of Grissik toward splinter within 6.8 km as yet have a system of inspection and cleaning of the inside of the pipe or pigging system. Based on the above issues need for system inspection and cleaning of the inside of the pipe or pigging system. One important component in pig launcher is a piggingsystem, the present study will detail the design of pig launcher. The design is done three times with varying material pig launcher. Pig launcher material variations include API 5L-X56, API 5L-X60, and API 5L-X65. Material variations pig launcher aiming for the best design. The best design of pig launcher is expected to provide input and consideration to the company as well as the basic competencies of students that can later be applied in the industrialized world. Draft pig launcher shows the results of the dimensions, age and also different prices - different. Pig launcher best obtained through some analysis. Analysis is done through comparison of age and the estimated price of making pig launcher. Results showed draft material API 5L-X56 is the best material that has a 11.68 years of age and the estimated price of manufacture of Rp. 73,995,449.00.
