ABSTRAK Alat Navigasi Kapal merupakan suatu yang sangat penting dalam menentukan arah kapal berlayar tidak jauh dari benua atau daratan. Alat Komunikasi Kapal digunakan untuk berhubungan antara awak kapal yang beda pada satu kapal, atau berkomunikasi dengan darat. Dalam makalah ini dilakukan perancangan Sistem Navigasi Kapal yang bertujuan untuk memonitor lokasi kapal-kapal lain berbasis peta elektronik menggunakan smartphone. Sistem monitoring digunakan sebagai bentuk pengawasan terhadap keberadaan kapal lain, yang bisa menjadi masukkan sehingga dapat menghindarkan tabrakan dengan kapal lain. Hasil akhir dari system adalah system monitoring lokasi kapal yang ditampilkan pada peta Google Map. Penggunaan sistem monitoring lokasi kapal dapat mempermudah melakukan pengawasan terhadap kapal-kapal yang berada di perairan. Dengan diketahuinya lokasi kapal-kapal lain maka diharapkan dapat membantu para nahkoda kapal agar terhindar dari tabrakan yang kerap terjadi. Penggunaan sistem komunikasi data menggunakan komunikasi TCP IP dapat diimplementasikan transaksi data antar client dan server tanpa melalui web server. Kata Kunci : Navigasi, Kapal, Google Map ABSTRACT Ship Navigation tool is avery important in determining the direction of the ship sailing not far from the continent or the mainland. Ship Communication Equipment used to connect between different crew members on a ship, or communicate with the ground. In this paper a design of Ship Navigation System which aims to monitor the location of other vessels using the electronic map-based smartphones. The monitoring system is used as a form of supervision of the presence of another vessel, which can be entered so as to avoid collision with another vessel. The end result of the system is the location of the vessel monitoring system shown on Google Map. The use of the ship location monitoring system can facilitate the conduct surveillance of ships in the waters. By knowing the location of other ships it is expected to help the captain of the ship to avoid collisions that frequently occur. The use of data communication systems using TCP IP communication can be implemented transaction data between client and server without going through a web server.
