Abstract

Kata kunnci : Motor Induksi, Insulance Resistance, Polarization Index, Kontinuitas Pelayanan. ABSTRACT The induction motor is an alternating current electric motors are the most widely used. It is called this because the induction motor motor works based on the existence of the induction of the magnetic field of the stator to the rotornya, where the current in the rotor generated by induction that arise due to the relative difference between the rotation of the rotor with rotating field is generated by the stator currents. Induction motor in the industry, applied as one of the tools used to support the Activator production was no exception in the Paiton Power Plant Unit 7 & 8 running by PT. IPMOMI (International Power Mitsui Operation and Maintenance Indonesia), so that maximum care is required to maintain efficient use of the induction motor. One of the factors that may affect the efficiency of inducti on motor is damage to insulation winding or winding in the motor. Disruption of the surrounding environment will be a serious problem where damp or moisture can damage the electrical and mechanical components, resulting in carat on the shaft, bearings, rotor, stator, laminated. If the penetration into the isolation mengkaibatkan isolation and degradation is broken. At the end of this task will be carried out analysis of humidity that occur in motor winding induction of 6.9 kV circulating water pump. Detection of damage to the motor that in akibatkan by a highly humidity level height by using the method of measurement of Resistance with Polarization Index Insulance complies with the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers). Keywords: Induction Motor, Insulance Resistance, Polarization Index, Continuity of service.
