ABSTRAK Plant Fatty Acid-01 merupakan salah satu perusahaan produksi olahan kelapa sawit baik dalam keadaan food edible dan non food edible. Dalam melayani kebutuhan produksi, khususnya energi listrik diperlukan kualitas yang baik. Transformator adalah komponen pendukung pada sebuah unit pembangkit listrik yang bekerja keras karena mengalami pembebanan, baik beban linier maupun non linier untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi.Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan industri ini banyak yang menggunakan beban non linier.Hal tersebut dikarenakan kemudahan dalam pengaturan kecepatan khususnya motor.Beban-beban di industri yang bersifat non linier seperti motor listrik, vsd, elektronika daya (inverter, converter).Beban-beban tersebut menggunakan kontrol pensaklaran dengan peralatan semikonduktor.Namun, dengan banyaknya beban non linier dapat mengakibatkan permasalahan kelistrikan.Dampak dari beban non linier adalah harmonisa atau berubahnya tegangan dan arus dari sisi beban menjadi tidak sinus dan menjadi distorsi gelombang.Dengan demikian, maka kualitas suplai transformator menuju beban harus tetap terjaga Maka, perlu dilakukan pengukuran harmonisa pada transformator.Nilai Total Hamrmonic Distortion dari hasil pengukuran tidak boleh melebihi standar IEEE 519-1992.Apabila transformator mengalami penyimpangan nilai Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) melebihi standar tetap dioperasikan, maka dapat menyebabkan peningkatan suhu dan memberikan dampak turunnya kualitas transformator.Kualitas kinerja transformator dianggap baik jika rugi-rugi transformator tersebut rendah. Kata kunci :Kualitas Transformator, Total Harmonic Distortion, Transformator. In serving the needs of production, in particular the electrical energy required good quality. The transformer is a supporting component of a unit of electricity generation that worked hard because it suffered the imposition, either linear or non linear loads to meet production needs. In meeting the needs of the industry many are using non linear loads. That is because the ease in particular motor speed settings. Loads in a non linear industries such as electric motors, power electronics, vsd (inverter, converter). These loads using switching control with semiconductor devices. However, with the large number of non linear load can lead to electrical problems. The impact of the non linear load is harmonization or changing the voltage and current from the load side of a the sinuses and become distortion waves. As such, then the quality of the supply transformer towards the loads must still awake Then, harmonic distortion measurements need to be made on the transformer. The value of Total Hamrmonic Distortion of the results of the measurements does not exceed the IEEE 519-1992. If the transformer is experiencing irregularities Total value of Harmonic Distortion (THD) exceeds the fixed standards operated, then it can cause an increase in temperature and give effect to the descent quality transformer. The quality of the performance of the transformer is considered good iftransformer losses is significantly lower. Key words : Quality Transformer, Total Harmonic Distortion, A Transformer.
