Abstract

ABSTRAK Divisi kapal perang PT PAL Indonesia merupakan divisi yang melayani pembuatan kapal perang. Tahap terpenting dalam pembuatan kapal perang adalah pemotongan plat menjadi komponen bagian pembentuk kapal. Permasalahan yang ada berkaitan dengan kemampuan kerja pada mesin CNC Cutting Plasma yang usianya hampir 25 tahun. Oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah yang efektif dan efisien dalam pemeliharaan mesin untuk mencegah dan mengatasi masalah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). TPM merupakan pengembangan dari productive maintenance yang diterapkan kepada seluruh karyawan. Tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu pengukuran Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) kemudian mencari nilai six big losses serta mengetahui faktor signifikan yang mempengaruhi dari six big losses dengan pareto. Analisis penyebab terjadinya losses menggunakan fishbone diagram. Kemudian rekomendasi perbaikan dari penyebab tersebut ditarik dalam TPM Plan, disertai dengan skema pelaksanaan TPM. Data yang digunakan adalah data tahun 2014. Nilai OEE mesin CNC Cutting Plasma pada tahun 2014 adalah 46,09% sehingga efektivitas mesin termasuk ketegori rendah. Nilai six big losses yaitu breakdown (9,6%), setup and adjustment (29,53 %), idling and minor stoppages (28,67%), reduced speed losses (25, 37%), reduced yield losses (7,44%), processed defect (0%). Faktor signifikan yang mempengaruhi rendahnya nilai OEE yaitu setup and adjustment, idling and minor stoppages, dan reduced speed losses. TPM Plan berisikan rekomendasi antara lain: menyediakan masker, pelatihan pengoperasian mesin CNC bagi operator, operator membersihkan mesin sebelum dan sesudah melakukan pekerjaan, perawatan rutin pada mesin, pengawasan saat pemotongan material, membuat checklist inspeksi kecepatan pemotongan, evaluasi kinerja tenaga kerja, evaluasi dan dokumentasi jadwal pengiriman material. Tahap implementasi TPM dimulai dari penulisan dan pendokumentasian laporan mengenai mesin kemudian didistribusikan kepada beberapa departemen untuk dibuat laporan bulanan. Laporan tersebut dievaluasi dan dibandingkan dengan target yang telah ditetapkan. Apabila hasilnya tidak sesuai target maka harus dilakukan evaluasi dan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan TPM plan. Jika hasilnya sudah sesuai akan dilakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan. The most important step in bettleships manufacturing is the plate cutting. This step cuts the plate into small components to build a ship. The problem is the working ablility of CNC Cutting Plasma is not good enough because it is an old machine which is about 25 years. Thus, it is needed effective and efficient methods in maintening the machine to prevent and resolve the problem. The method used in this study is the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). TPM is a development of productive maintenance which is applied to all employees. The steps are measuring the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), followed by six big losses measurement and determination losses with pareto diagram. The next step is analysing the causes of high losses using a fishbone diagram, then recommend the improvement from the causes by using the 8 pillars of TPM including the TPM implementation scheme to clarify the steps in implementating TPM in company. The data used in this study are the data of the year 2014. OEE score of CNC Plasma Cutting machine at 2014 was 46.09%, so the effectiveness of the engine in low categories. The scores of six big losses are categorized into Breakdown (9.6%), Setup and Adjustment (29.53%), Idling and Minor Stoppages (28.67%), Reduced Speed Losses (25.37%), Reduced Yield Losses (7.44%), Processed Defect (0%). There are three significant factors which influence the low score of OEE, those are Setup and Adjustment, Idling and Minor Stoppages and Reduced Speed Losses. The result of this study give recommendation which is based on TPM Plan, they are provide masks for the worker, give “CNC Cutting Plasma operation” training, clean the machine before and after working, routine maintenance for the machine, supervise for performance, evaluation and record materials delivery schedules. TPM implementation phase is started from writing and record the reports of the machine. Then the report will be distributed to several departmen as monthly eport. Next the report will be evaluated and compared to the target set. There will be evaluation and be followed by TPM Plan, if the result is not suitable with target set.
