Abstract

ABSTRAK Penataan letak ruang akomodasi pada saat pembuatan desain merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat diperhatikan oleh desainer kapal. Kenyamanan ABK dan juga penumpang menjadi salah satu bahan pertimbangan dalam menentukan letak ruang akomodasi maupun fasilitas yang tersedia bagi penumpang. Dalam pembuatan desain terdapat peraturan yang membatasi penentuan letak ruang akomodasi seperti halnya yang terdapat pada International Labour Organization (ILO). Sehingga seorang desainer harus mampu mengoptimalkan space yang ada agar didapatkan desain yang optimum. Para desainer sejauh ini melakukan perencanaan tata letak ruang akomodasi dengan berdasarkan pada contoh layout kapal yang sudah ada. Hal tersebut dilakukan untuk mempercepat waktu dan memperpendek proses desain yang tergolong dapat memakan waktu lama. Namun, sebagian besar dari para desainer belum melakukan pengoptimuman dari desain lama yang sudah ada oleh sebab itu redesain ini dilakukan dengan mengubah exit way ruang ABK pada car deck serta penambahan fasilitas kanopi pada navigation deck sebagai usaha mengoptimalkan space yang ada. Penambahan kanopi pada navigation deck tentunya tidak mengabaikan stabilitas pada kapal sehingga pengkajian terhadap analisa stabilitas juga perlu dilakukan dengan mengacu peraturan yang terpadat pada IMO A. 749. Objek penulisan akan dilakukan studi kasus pada KMP. Cakalang II sebagai kapal jenis ferry Ro-Ro. Setelah dilakukan redesain serta analisa stabilitas pada penambahan kontruksi kanopi dengan beberapa kondisi pemuatan seperti departure condition full load, departure condition without cargo, navigational condition full load, dan departure condition without cargobaik kondisi sebelum maupun sesudah ditambahkan kontruksi kanopi. Untuk hasil stabilitas dibeberapa kondisi pemuatan sudah terpenuhi dengan rule IMO A.749. Sehingga dengan adanya penambahan kontruksi kanopi tidak mempengaruhi pada stabilitas kapal. The comfortable of crew and passenger is one of consideration to determine location of accomodation room and facilities that available for passangers. To make a design there was any regulation that restrict to determine accomodation room like as contained in the International Labour Organization (ILO). So that, naval architect should be able to optimize the free space to make optimum design. So far, the designer making the layout of the accomodation room based on layout of ship that has been build. This is done to speed up time and shorten the design process that usual can take a long time. How ever, most of the designers have not optimization of the old design therefore redesign is done by changing the exit way on the car deck and addition of canopy on the navigation deck facilities to optimize the free space. Additions canopy on the navigation deck will be consider the satability of the ship so that stability analysis also needs to be calculate that contained in the IMO A.749 . The object of this final project is KMP. Cakalang II as the passenger ship type ferry Ro-Ro. After redesigning and analysis of stability in the addition of a canopy construction with several loading conditions such as full load condition departure, departure condition, without cargo, navigational full load condition, and the departure condition without cargo, condition before and after the construction of a canopy added. For the stability of some conditions has been pass by the IMO rule A.749. So with the addition of canopy construction does not affect the stability of the ship. Keywords : Redesign, KMP.
