ABSTRAK Analisa ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan meterial baja yang digunakan untuk memproduksi sebuah bak dump truk dengan kapasitas 5,5 m³, pada penelitian kali ini peneliti hanya menganalisa kebutuhan dari material baja, material lain selain baja tidak termasuk dalam target penelitian Maka dari itu untuk langkah awal proses menganalisa kebutuhan material baja sebagai bahan pembuatan bak dump truk dibutuhkan gambar detai dari bak dump truk, yang digunakan untuk mengetahui komponen-komponen apa saja yang terdapat dalam bak dump truk, selain itu ukuran dari komponen-komponen tersebut juga perlu diketahui untuk mengetahui berapa banyak material yang digunakan. Dari hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan berat material bak dump truk dengan kapasitan 5,5 m³ yaitu memiliki berat sebesar 1074,61 kg. Kata kunci : Material baja, desain gambar dan berat ABSTRACK This analysis to determine the need for steel material used to produce a dump truck with a capacity 5,5 m³, in this study researchers only analyze the needs o steel material, materials other than steel are not included in the research terget. Therefore the first step of the process of analyzing the steel material need as a material or making a dump truk detailed drawing of the dump truk is required, which is used to determine what components are contained in a truck dump, besides the size of the component also need to know how much material used. From the results of the analysis that has done the weig of dump truck material with capasity 5,5 m³ le has weight of 1074,61 kg. Kata kunci : steel material, image design, and weight
