ABSTRAK Sebuah perusahaan harus melakukan pengendalian persediaan untuk memenuhi jadwal produksi tepat waktu dan menjamin tersedianya produk jadi bagi konsumen. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah Material Requirement Planning (MRP). PT. Lamongan Marine Industry (LMI) yang merupakan perusahaan dalam bidang perkapalan diambil sebagai objek penelitian. Produk yang dianalisis adalah kapal Coaster 2000 GT blok ADB1 yang memiliki jumlah dan komponen material yang paling banyak. Permasalahan yang ada di PT. Lamongan Marine Industry yaitu sistem perencanaan persediaan yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini diawali dengan menganalisis jadwal induk produksi, struktur produk dan daftar kebutuhan bahan, serta diakhiri dengan menganalisis besarnya jumlah pesanan optimal untuk setiap bahan baku. Output dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui ukuran lot produksi pada setiap komponen dan periode untuk melakukan pemesanan. Kata kunci: Jadwal produksi induk, Material Requirement planning (MRP), struktur produk, ukuran lot. ABSTRACT A company should do inventory control for fulfill the production schedule on time and guaranteed the availability of final product for consumer. The method which can be used is Material Requirement Planning (MRP). PT. Lamongan Marine Industry (LMI) which is a shipyard company is choosed for this research. The product which analized is Coaster ship 2000 GT at block ADB1 which have a lot of material. The problem are discovered at PT. Lamongan Marine Industry is inventory planning system are not optimum. To start this research, Master Production Schedule is analized, product structure and bill of material, lastly analized the optimum quantity order for each raw material. Output from this research is to find out the production lot size for each raw material and the period for do an order.
