Sebelum dimulai suatu proses produksi, terlebih dahulu harus mengetahui berapa biaya produksinya. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui harga jual minimal produknya, maka perlu adanya perhitungan kebutuhan material. Mengingat pentingnya suatu perhitungan kebutuhan material sebelum memulai sebuah proses produksi agar perusahaan dapat menetapkan biaya produksinya, sehingga modal produksi kembali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitiaan ini merupakan langkah-langkah penelitian yang diawali dari studi literatur, pengumpulan data-data penunjang, berlanjut pada perhitungan biaya untuk pembuatan cetakan, perhitungan biaya badan kapal, perhitungan upah pekerja (jam orang). Setelah dilakukannya perhitungan biaya produksi passenger boat 18.50 meter, maka biaya produksinya sebesar Rp 2.550.522.500,00 dengan kebutuhan material matt sebesar matt 350 10 roll, matt 450 63 roll, WR sebesar 26 roll, resin sebesar 13 drum, katalis sebesar 15 botol, melamin sebesar 77 lembar, kayu sebesar 68 batang, dempul sebesar 24 kaleng, wax sebesar 30 kaleng. Kata Kunci : Kapal FRP, Proses Poduksi, Kebutuhan Material,Jam Orang Before starting a production process, we need to know how the cost of production. Aims to determine the minimum selling price of product, it is necessary for the calculation of material needs. Given the importance of a calculation of material requirements before starting the production process so that the company can set the coat of production, so that production of capital return. The method in this study is a step by step research that begins from literature, supporting data section, continues on the calculation of the cost to manufacture the mold, ship’s body cost calculation, calculation of wages(time people). While production cost for the construction of passenger boat 18.50 meter is Rp 2.550.522.500,00. With matt material requirements for matt 350 10 roll, 63 roll matt 450, 26 roll of WR, 13 drum of resin, 15 bottle of catalyst, 77 sheet of melamine, 77 shaft of wood, 24 tin of putty, 30 tin of wax.
