ABSTRAK KMP CAKALANG II merupakan jenis kapal tipe Ro-Ro yaitu tipe Passenger Ship yang memiliki rute pelayaran NTB-NTT yang dapat mengangkut orang serta kendaraan yang relative banyak. Untuk akses keluar-masuk ke kapal, maka diberikan fasilitas 3 buah ramp door, yaitu pada bagian depan, belakang dan samping kapal. Pada saat kapal berlayar dan terjadi ombak besar, kemungkinan besar air laut dapat masuk ke ruang muat kendaraan melalui celah-celah fore ramp door, dan ini menyebabkan air laut yang masuk akan menggenang pada jalannya sling fore ramp door tersebut dan tidak bisa keluar. Maka perlu dilakukan modifikasi pada jalannya sling serta lidah-lidah yang menempel pada fore ramp door. Modifikasi ini dilakukan dengan alasan untuk meminimalisir terjadinya korosi pada ruang muat kendaraan serta mengoptimalisasi proses kerja sling saat fore ramp door naik-turun. Analisa teknis dan biaya modifikasi fore ramp door pada KMP CAKALANG II di awali dengan pengamatan pada bagian fore ramp door mana saja yang akan di modifikasi. Kemudian melakukan pengumpulan data serta wawancara dengan pihak Owner Surveyor dan galangan kapal, lalu di analisa dari segi teknis dan biaya pengerjaan modifikasi. Kata kunci : Teknis, Biaya, Modifikasi Fore Ramp Door ABSTRACT KMP Cakalang II is a kind of Ro-Ro Passenger Ship which has NTB-NTT shipping route to transport people and transportation. There are 3 ramp door to exit and enter the ship, which is on the front, rear and side of the ship. At the time of sailing boats and large waves occur, sea water can get into the car deck through the upper fore ramp door, and this causes sea water will be pooled in the course of the sling ramp door and could not get out. It is necessary to modify the slings and the tongues of fore ramp door that attached to the fore ramp door. This modification is done to minimize the occurrence of corrosion on the car deck and optimize work processes sling when the fore ramp door up and down. Technical analysis and modification costs fore ramp door on KMP Cakalang II begins with the observation in the modification process to determine the fore ramp door sections which will be modified. Then collecting data and interviews with the Owner Surveyor and shipyards, so that we could analized the technical analysis and modification processing costs.
