Abstract

ABSTRAK PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi rokok, dalam proses produksinya perusahaan ini membutuhkan suplai steam yang berasal dari boiler. Gangguan pada boiler akan berpotensi menghambat proses produksi rokok serta dapat menimbulkan ancaman bagi keselamatan di lingkungan kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat melakukan kegiatan pemeliharaan secara terencana serta menentukan persediaan suku cadang sehingga meningkatkan efektifitas kerja alat serta mengurangi angka kecelakaan terhadap pekerja. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Realibility Centered Maintenance (RCM II) dan penentuan kebutuhan suku cadang menggunakan EOQ(Economic Order Quantity). Kegagalan fungsi komponen ditinjau dari FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Penilaian risiko didapatkan dari perhitungan RPN (Risk Priority Number),terdapat perhitungan nilai MTTF, MTTR, dan interval perawatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui terdapat 14 bentuk kegagalan fungsi pada boiler. Dalam RCM II diketahui bahwa terdapat 7 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan menggunakan scheduled discard task. Terdapat 6 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan menggunakan scheduled restoration task, dan terdapat 1 failure mode yang dapat dicegah dengan menggunakan scheduled on conditional task. Berdasarkan perhitungan EOQ terdapat 7 komponen yang masuk dalam perencanaan persediaan suku cadang. Kata Kunci: Boiler, Perawatan, RCM , EOQ ABSTRACT PT. X is a cigarette company in which its production process needs steam supply from a boiler. A disturbance occurred in the boiler may potentially hamper the cigarette production process and pose a threat to the safety procedures in work place environment. This study aims to plan maintenance activities regularly and determine spare part supply; so that the effectiveness of equipment performance could be well improved and the number of labor accidents would be reduced. The methods used in this study were Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM II) and EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) to determine spare part requirement. The function failure in the component was observed from the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Risk assessment was evaluated through the calculation of the RPN (Risk Priority Number), There are calculations of MTTF, MTTR, and maintenance intervals. The result showed that there were 14 kinds of function failures in boiler. There were 7 failure modes which can be prevented by using scheduled discard task, 6 failure modes that can be prevented by using scheduled restoration task, and 1 failure modes that can be avoided with scheduled on conditional task. Based on EOQ calculation, 7 components are included in the spare part supply plan. Key Words: Boiler, maintenance, RCM, EOQ
