ABSTRAK PT. Varia Usaha merupakan perusahaan dengan bisnis utama bidang transportasi. Kegiatan maintenance banyak menghasilkan limbah B3 yang seharusnya disimpan pada TPS limbah B3. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, belum memiliki TPS limbah B3, tata cara pengemasan dan penataan limbah B3. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perancangan TPS limbah B3 sesuai standart, fasilitas lain seperti ventilasi, penerangan, penyalur petir dan sistem proteksi kebakaran. Perencanaan pengelolaan limbah B3 diawali pengambilan data jenis dan volume limbah, perencanaan dimensi palet, drum, bak kontainer, dan forklift. Pengelolaan data berupa perancangan TPS limbah B3, tata cara pengemasan dan penataan limbah B3 dilengkapi ventilasi, penerangan, penyalur petir, sistem proteksi kebakaran, perancangan struktur bangunan dengan software SAP2000. Hasil penelitian adalah mengetahui karakteristik limbah B3 yaitu beracun, korosif, cairan dan padatan mudah terbakar. Bangunan TPS direncanakan memiliki ukuran (21,85x20,2x8,4)m dengan rincian 3 ruangan penyimpanan limbah B3, ruangan forklift, kantor dan gudang perkakas. Total luas ventilasi TPS limbah B3 adalah 34,72 m 2 . Total sistem penerangan di TPS limbah B3 sebanyak 2 armatur lampu 2xTL40 Watt kantor dan 8 armatur lampu pijar 300 Watt ruang lainnya. Berdasarkan penilaian resiko, TPS limbah B3 tidak memerlukan instalasi penyalur petir. Sistem proteksi kebakaran 9 detektor asap, 2 alarm audio, 3 APAR. Perancangan struktur digunakan gording (WF 100x50x5x7), kuda-kuda (250x175x7x11), kolom (WF 200x200x8x12). Kata kunci : penerangan, pengelolaan limbah B3, penyalur petir, perancangan struktur, sistem proteksi kebakaran dan ventilasi. ABSTRACT PT. Varia Usaha is a company stand with the main business in the field transportation. Maintenance activities mostly produces hazardous waste which should be stored in Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous. According the observation which has been done, do not have the Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste, procedure of packaging and structuring of hazardous waste. Therefore, it should be designed a Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste accordance with standart, another fasilities as ventilation, lighting, lightning, fire protection system. The designing process of Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste was started with a data collection and volume of waste, the dimension of pallete, drum, container, dan forklift. The tabulation which is done form is designing Temporary Storage area of Hazardous Waste as the procedure of packaging and structuring of hazardous waste equipped ventilation, lighting, lightning, fire protection system and designing bulding structur use SAP2000 software. The result of the research is know hazardous waste characteristic are poisonous, corrosive, liquid and compact flammable. The planned Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste has a size (21,85x20,2x8,4) m building which is consisted of 3 hazardous waste storage room, forklift room, office room and tool warehouse. The total of natural ventilation for Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste is 34,72 m 2 . The total of lighting system for Temporary Storage Area of Hazardous Waste as much 2 armatures with 2xTL40 Watt office room and 8 armature with 300 Watt another place. According to the risk assessment for Temporary Hazardous Waste Storage Area don’t need lightning installation. Fire protection system 9 smoke detector, 2 alarm audio, 3 fire extinguisher. Design structur use gording (WF 100x50x5x7), easel profile (WF 250x175x7x11), column (WF 200x200x8x12).
