Abstract

ABSTRAK TK. Semangat Rajawali II adalah kapal jenis hopper barge yang digunakan untuk menggangkut lumpur yang dimiliki oleh PT. Indonesia Marina Shipyard. Pada tahun 2010 kapal mengalami insiden tenggelam saat akan melakukan jasa di kalimantan. Saat kapal berada di laut jawa, kondisi cuaca sangat buruk sampai tinggi gelombang mencapai kurang lebih 3 meter. Dari keadaan tersebut kapal TK. Semangat Rajawali II terombang-ambing dan sampai akhirnya tengelam. Dari peristiwa tersebut penulis ingin mengetahui penyebab kapal TK. Semangat Rajawali II tenggelam dengan analisa kapal dalam beberapa kondisi. Yang nantinya digunakan untuk menarik kesimpulan dari kejadian tersebut. Dalam kasus ini akan dilakukan analisa dari kondisi kapal bermuatan lumpur atau air laut untuk mengetahui kemampuan kapal dalam menerima muatan yang mampu diangkut kapal agar kondisi kapal masih bisa beroperasi dengan aman dan juga stabilitas dari kondisi tersebut. Adapun perumusan masalah untuk mengetahui beberapa hal yaitu berat kapal kosong TK. Semangat Rajawali II, Berapa berat air laut dan sarat kapal ketika ruang muat terisi air laut penuh pada kapal TK. Semangat Rajawali II, Berapa berat lumpur dan sarat kapal ketika ruang muat terisi lumpur penuh pada kapal TK. Semangat Rajawali II, Berapa berat lumpur untuk sarat kapal maksimal pada kapal TK. Hasil analisa dari ke enam kondisi yang telah dirumuskan mempunyai kondisi stabilitas yang baik, akan tetapi untuk analisa dari kondisi pertama dan ke lima terdapat hasil fail pada criteria Angel of maximum GZ. Keseluruhan dari hasil analisa kapal menerangkan bahwa tenggelamnya kapal TK. Semangat Rajawali II bukan disebabkan dari stabilitas kapal. Kata Kunci : Analisa tengelamnya kapal TK.
