Abstract

ABSTRAK Beban listrik disuplai dari generator utama dengan kapasitas generator harus memenuhi beban yang ada di kapal. Main Switchboard (MSB) sebagai control listrik utama yang digunakan untuk mensuplai peralatan kapal. Apabila MSB terjadi gangguanakan berpengaruh pada operasional kapal, keselamatan awak, dan peralatan di kapal. Dikarenakan hal tersebut maka Main Switchboard harus dilengkapi sebuah safety device. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan studi penelitian, observasi lapangan, dan analisis data. Dalam merencanakan safety device pada panel main switch board harus memenuhi persyaratan kelayakan berdasarkan rule dan standar Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia dan Lyod’s Register. Safety device harus dapat mengamankan dari gangguan dan memisahkan bagian lain yang masih dalam keadaan normal. Hasil dari pembahasan perencanaan safety device main switch board generator panel adalah setting proteksi Short Circuit sebesar 163,33A (250% dari arus nominal sebesar 408,33 A) dengan time delay 200 mil-detik. Setting proteksi Over Current sebesar 179,663A (110% dari arus nominal sebesar 163.33A) dengan time delay 500 mil-detik. Setting proteksi Reverse sebesar 8,6kW (10% dari daya generator 86 kW) dengan time delay 2-5 detik. Setting proteksi Under Voltage sebesar 266V (70% dari tegangan sistem 380V) dengan time delay 500 mil-detik. Setting proteksi Under Frequency sebesar 5Hz (10% dari frequency sistem 50Hz) dengan time delay 5-10 sekon. Main Switchboard (MSB) as the main electrical control used to supply ship equipment. If MSB interference will affect ship operations, crew safety, and equipment on board. Due to this then Main Switchboard must be equipped with a safety device. Planning is done with research studies, field observation, and data analysis. In planning the safety device in the switchboard main panel must meet the eligibility requirements based on the rules and standards of the Indonesian Classification Bureau and Lyod's Register. Safety devices must be able to secure from interference and separate the other parts that are still in normal circumstances. The result of discussion of planning of safety device of main switchboard generator panel is Short Circuit protection setting equal to 163,33A (250% from nominal current equal to 408,33 A) with time delay 200 mil-second. The Over Current protection setting is 179.663A (110% of the nominal current of 163.33A) with a time delay of 500 mil-seconds. Reverse protection setting of 8.6kW (10% of 86 kW generator power) with time delay of 2-5 seconds. Under Voltage protection setting of 266V (70% of system voltage 380V) with time delay 500 mil-second.
